You are right with the non shooting stands, the shoe shine stand is always there and at the game fair, alot of people buy and use it for them to always come back I guess.. Knife sharpening is always good for the stalkers, fold out stools for people sat in hides maybe?? Just trying to make it shooting related 😂

Turns out buying in a Box would have cost 10-20p more per cartridge.

Just looked and if you bought 4 slabs of high pheasant extreme 32g cartridges (not at 1000 rate) they're 568.32 (56p a cartridge) or 488.40 (48p a cartridge) at 1000 rate Even pro fibre clay cartridges are 42p or 36p a cartridge and they're clay loads of which there is only 1 slabs worth in the entire bundle So 37p per cartridge is actually a good price. I don't need any cartridges myself but not going to just run the OP down because of his pricing.

I'd say you would need to have the sound metre for a long period of time to be able to get a recording, as you said you heard it, then the recorder was installed but not for long enough potentially

I have a Spartan bipod that came with an hmr setup I bought, had it a few years now and the top kept coming loose while out in the field, so if I let go of the rifle while laying prone ( hmr, 243,270) it would fall to one side and has actually fallen over, rather than being held in place by the bipod, Which as you all will know is not good, and pants were changed... Contacted Spartan last week and sent an image of the lock mech stating that it kept coming loose in the field. On Thursday the service chap emailed saying we have a solution and it's on its way.. fast forward to today and a new top piece has arrived, fitted and it's solid.. I cannot fault the service, two emails and a free replacement part was sent out with no questions asked. Image of the new part attached to show what was failing..

I have had this when out one evening with @Lloyd90 I dropped a rabbit and a fox jumped out and grabbed it. To Lloyds disappointed I did not flatten the fox haha

I was there around 4-5 hours, chatted to HIK team, pulsar team, and a few other stands about the new straight pull beretta, begara rifles and a few others, saw my local shop "Braces" there so had a catch up with them and had a good day of it. If you wander round for half hour how can you say it's not worth it when you probably drove for longer.. I do agree though, it's turning more into a trade show rather than a shopping day. So look at the kit then go buy online or at local RFD

Does it really matter how you get to see it. A weekly email kind of is exactly that, 1 a week. If something happens a on a Monday and the emails I a Tuesday you'll get it in email of the Tuesday, unsure how membership has anything to do with this.. loads of orgs use multiple platforms to share information.. I read it then saw email now have magazine, so that's three ways I can or could view it. Means it catches All

We had it round us, RSPCA Letting them out, just happened to be on land I shoot, so we sat in the truck in one field for a week and get 9. All urban foxes that had been checked over, some had shaved legs where they'd been knocked out and one had stitches. They'd struggle to survive without a kfc and people's rubbish bins to feed from...

This... Went to carvoeiro in 2019 and its a small cove when down in the town but it's very hilly, has great coast walk out into caves etc.
