  1. My ideal collection would never be completed, I have most of what I need. What I want however.... Something from those nice Accuracy International chaps would find a home ?
  2. Pets 4 homes (without the gaps) have an adoption section. It's where we got our Patterdale from, but you may have to travel for the right dog.
  3. Looking at the 1st post, if your just shooting 10 or so shots a day buy a 7ltr bottle it'll last ages. I shoot a comp most weekends and bought a tank in April. I haven't had to refill it yet. Here you go clever people, how long will a 7ltr tank last at 10 shots a day, every day. Cylinder capacity being 200cc, fill to 180psi and refill at 120? Gun is a 177. Other parameters necessary to the calculation I will leave to the mathematicians.
  4. Interview Monday, on the mat Sat, renewal and grant.
  5. It would be wasted with me, already too many toys.
  6. Can't believe no one has picked this up yet. Lovely walnut stock, classic british air rifle, just waiting for the right person to breath new life into it. (nearly said "her" but decided I was getting carried away). It'll be a gem after a great project. Go ooooooon.

    In Transit

There is a bit of a fashion for this amongst some HFTers which I'm pretty sure didn't help my scope woes earlier in the year. It's something I make a point of not doing now.

I will hold up my hand to being cack handed and short of a few brain cells occasionally, as I have clonked the gun slip and knocked the barrel off true. Accidents happen. ?
  9. Thanks for that. Mine, top of page 8, are a bit of a sludgey brown colour and worn where the hand has gripped.
  10. I do think that's one of the best looking stocks I've seen. Simply stunning. Do you have a link to, or can you detail the, method used to get that excellent result on your barrels?

    Cheap 12 bore

Got to agree with @Snoozer that @wabbitbosher is the man to speak to. He'll have something for you.

    Air Arms or BSA

Let's just say that we agreed that for what we ( he and I shoot HFT only) need they are unnecessary on an air arms rifle. In our opinion.
  13. It'll make a big difference, much more relaxed eyes, you'll be able to hold focus for much longer.

    Air Arms or BSA

Funnily enough was shooting with an AA employee today a this very subject came up.
  15. Absolutely my cup of tea. Quite beautiful.

    Air Arms or BSA

Yes but just coz people want something doesn't mean it's necessary. I shoot HFT with an MPR FT unregulated. It doesn't need one. It'll shoot flat for 50 pellets.
  17. Will do. Gun has a bit of an oddball diopter mounting on the side with a dovetail and clamp. Should I wish to mount a scop on top I'll need to engineer something at right angles to clamp a scope to whilst keeping it central........... Ah, but thats another thread for a other time.
  18. Cracking thread Ditchy very enjoyable. Just started prone. 22 lr with diopter sights and have been following this with interest. Thanks for posting
  19. Very nice O F, what age is it? Lovely bit of engraving.
  20. Got to say Ditchy you cut a very tidy thread indeed, those screws look mint.
  21. i'd just email airarms and ask for recommended service engineer in your area.
  22. Taken the day off with mine as the missus can't be home to look after her. Too hot in London for a very active 11month old.
  23. Applied for FAC 10 days ago, called today about a visit when it's convenient for me. Advised to pay another £2 and go coterminus, thus extending my SGC for a further 2 years for 2 quid. Further money saving advice given that I will not go into here. All in all thank you Sussex.
