Barrel cleaned , have to have a look at how to do the spring. Break barrel.

I have an old .177 target pistol , good quality German gun but not been used for many years . I was going to give it to my Grandson but testing it , pellet either gets half way down the barrel or spits out 2 or 3 feet !!! Help ?

Fiocchi make good cartridges , I have used TTone catridges in 20g for pigeons they were very good but stopped because I could only get them in plastic wad ! Generally Fiocchi excellent and very clean , I use them in 12, 20 and .410 !

Safe gun handling far more important an old gunsmith once said to me lifting the barrels of a shotgun towards me 'Would you trust the safety catch ?' If you're not sure break the gun.

I can remember hearing him when I was a child and being struck by his honesty and intelligence! When interviewed he always stopped and thought before answering the question ! Pity some of them don't do that now instead of evading the question.
