don't think Scotland played well, more that the French side were diabolical and let the Scots win.

I've just watched the end of the game, Scotland frustrated France causing them to loose their game plan, great win for Scotland.

Another nail in the coffin for people who claim rugby is still a 'gentleman's game'

It's a physical game and a lot more Gentleman like than some, what has Marler done?

How come no mention of Marler and his antics

There is so much going on, watching the highlights again a Wales player gets injured with a no arm chop tackle on Sincler, cuts him down but an illegal tackle and dangerous.

A heart consultant at Leicester was telling us that its a ticking time bomb for youths of today drinking that stuff to get through shifts.

I've seen lads chugging cans of monster on days like its water?? Gaming till the early hours then in work at 6am and they wont listen.

I'm not surprised, 20 hours per day plus travel, time to eat etc, when did he ever sleep?

I've worked with guys who boast of doing 6&7 days a week, but their asleep half the night while the machine runs, or napping for a couple of hours at a time, not for me thanks.

Lol always check ur kit and conditions before you blame urself pal u want to put on here a new topic to see if there are any other airgunners willing to trade a handful of pellets some of urs for theres cheapest option mate cost you a fortune buying full tins hope all goes well bud

    👍

The pellet perfect site sends you 25 of each pellet you want, and I've had pellets sent from other lads on here, some good lads on here.

of the pellets get urself some pellet scales off ebay £10 or so to weigh the pellets in the tin once u get urself 10 pellets of the same weight try those at a target all in the prep work for better shooting thanks for your reply

Could be pellet weight, but I'm sure it was me, little bit of movement and the pellets are away.

I'll be on pellet perfect this week ordering samples.

Hi fella, the US was out of my budget, I decided to buy a .177 but within a certain price in case I didn't like the caliber. What are you shooting with?

    20200308_181907.jpg.bf053c011a920faf92d81ca8d736a52f.jpg

This made me smile today, spent yesterday high up in some trees taking some big stuff out and today having a tidy in the garage with the kids, got to half 4 and I said right everyone inside so I can have a shoot in piece, locked the patio door from outside and put out the target, started at 25m again scope on 8 mag, no problems, I stopped at 5 shots because I didn't want to spoil it, had I pulled number 6 I would have been very unhappy.

Moved my paving slab and target back to 30mtrs and did a mag, 3 or 4 good shots but 4 or 5 spreading a little,  on 8 mag the cross hairs pretty much cover the bull, I know people say 6 mag is plenty but even at 10 mag with it being a thicker reticle it didn't feel as comfortable as shooting at 25 was.

I did another 2 mags of JSB and AA, same results couple of nice groups but with a few shots spread around, but from 20 -30mtrs all pretty flat which is nice.

Packed up for tea and then the heavens opened,  happy days 😁

Whom ever dreamt up that shift pattern needs sacking! I

Those that come up with these shifts never work them, if you are asleep half the time then its probably no big deal.

We went from 3 on 3 off at one point to 5 nights a week,  it was awful simply because you had no turn around time, finish Friday morning back in Sunday night,  people left in droves, and they've gone back to 4 nights now so you get a weekend again.

I bought a used AA 400 and wish I’d gone for the 410 the problem with me I’ve got no patience and couldn’t wait for a 410 to come up for sale
Can’t fault the accuracy of the 400 but would prefer a magazine as opposed to single shot

Enjoy your new gun bud 👍

Cheers, I nearly did what you did, I saw a couple of nice 400s with lovely walnut thumbhole stocks but I was advised by several guys not to get the 400, fantastic guns but I'd wish I bought the 410, luckily I didn't get my hands on them, the temptation would have been too much I'm sure.

Here's a still, for anyone who's not seen it. Manu's right shoulder's about to connect with North's head as he's slid out of play by Slade's tackle

    image.png.7f2cb06d4ec559f7a0b6d4a96beb6547.png

If he had got his right arm under the ball then there would have been no foul.

What about the high shot on Manu? Welsh player deliberately went high with a head to head tackle, knowing he had to stop him, splitting Manus forehead,  clearly used his head.

on the old shift pattern, i used to work seven 10-6 nights finishing 6am on Monday morning and then back in for work at 2pm in the afternoon for a 2-10pm shift, followed by another 2-10pm on Tuesday.

I blame that for taking away my 'boy band' good looks!

    f.

That sounds illegal? I hope it was a long time ago?

If YOU can sleep well in the day, nights are brilliant, less day shift idiots to deal with

Absolutely,  far too many idiots at bigger places on days who just get in the way.

  10. 1 hour ago, chrisjpainter said:

I'm just not sure what else he could do? He's gone in full belt to stop the try (as he should) gets there and suddenly North's head is waist level. I tell you, if he goes with his arm in a full tackle, that'd be a heck of a lot worse, because he'd have basically clothes-lined him, which would have snapped his neck back. Sometimes heads hit hard things.

Fantastic game, disagree with Tuilangi that was naughty deserved red card

I think it was a red and Tuilangi new it, yes North is dropping but T has to wrap the arm when making a tackle,  T took one for the team making sure there wasn't a try.

I thought Slade had a great game, and England defended brilliantly.

I don't know why England kick high against Wales you always get punished on the return because they are so good at the back three.

Talking about not tackling properly,  Farrell ran a dummy line and got cleaned out with a shoulder charge,  England scored but this should be picked up on.

    Great game.

  11. I don't like the sound of the annual leave being set, but some jobs are obviously like that.

I've always worked shifts, I prefer nights but I can sleep anytime,  not everyone can.

For me you get paid more, less traffic travelling to and from work,  although finishing at 9am could be painful, nights would normally be 7-7 or 10-6 working 5-9 am means probably more like 4pm till 10am by the time you add in getting ready and getting to and from work,  long shifts.

Haha very true haha made me chuckle. Just ordered myself some H&N Baracuda FT 4.51mm has anyone tried them? Just for a test as my ultra se and bantam love baracuda match 4.52mm

I wasnt sure if they may hold the accuracy but be a faster projectile compared

All sizes seemed to be going fine in my rifle,  but now its working properly again I can start the testing process again,  and chrono what seems most accurate.

  13. No wind! No rain! Calm sunny day winner!

Just moving my target back to 30mtrs and my neighbour appears in his garden😭😭 I'd only done 15 pellets and all stop.

I used the exacts because I'd left the AADF in the house.

I have a stick mic but wouldn't count on the youngsters being able to use it 😂...

    I'm not giving secrets away

They can't use the stick mic then an outside mic to measure it?

Or try and get some spring loaded rockers, there really good for smaller bores.

  15. 2 hours ago, washerboy said:

Yes, all our verniers up to 250 mm are digital. We have had lads nearly scrap jobs using an old non digital vernier and them measuring internal bores

These comments have made me laugh,  and who measures a bore with a vernier? Must be a Miller 😂😂
