Bet you can't wait, to get them all up and zeroed. Start your pellet testing again earnest.

Been blowing a gale here today, we were out at a kids party, same again tomorrow with rain forecast,  I'm thinking I'll just put some pellets through her, use the 8.44 while I see how things are. I've put the Simmons on as well.

    How is your FX?

Fury predicts knocking Wilder out in round 2. You can get odds of 66/1 on that bet. Tempting.

All hype, I can't see Fury getting a knock out, I watched the previous fight last night,  Wilder had the two knock downs for me and nothing else, hopefully this time Fury is fitter and will school Wilder big time, less show boating just box?

  3. It wasnt me!

Nothing mice like more than an undisturbed garage or shed full of stuff you don't want chewing,  and they never chew stuff that doesn't matter.

Give it a good clean out then get some traps down,  put them along the walls so the mice run into them and keep a tally of how many you get.

Like it or not, we are a minority, I personally feel close up dead kill images are best kept to private member forums such as here.

This isn't private mate, if you sign out you can still see everything that's on here.

When the fish aren't biting, it livens up my day when the robins come along and nick maggots, right next to my right foot.

That was my old fella, little Robin sat on his bait stand nicking all his pinkies,  I feed them in the hide.

33 gr @ 940 FPS on 135 bar setting 3 on power wheel and like I expected very , very accurate . At 75 yards just under 1 mill dot but group under 5 pence size and a zero on 45 yards

need to try the others and 33gr at longer ranges 100 - 150 yards

That's going to sting!! And they sound accurate,  big its rain rain and some more rain again all weekend.

Many homes underwater this morning, the government would be far better spending taxpayers money on flood defensives than a high speed train (HS2) priority’s all wrong.

Problem is high speed trains sound good, personally a train service that runs properly and is affordable would be much better.

As for the river Kent, its dropped 3 or 4 foot over night thankfully.

  8. I wouldn't normally post on something like this,  I saw the headlines earlier and was stunned,  she was obviously going through a rough patch but such a shame it came to this, her twin sister and family must be devastated.

I don't do the whole love island, social media circus type programs,  not my thing.

But negative comments on topics like this aren't needed.

hello, all sounds very technical to when i was in engineering ( old school)

That's as old school as it gets, the young lads don't know how to measure a thread, or not many of them anyway 👍

hello, looks good Mice just needs a bit of black spray paint, i looked on loads of web sites for thread sizes, could not find any,

White Nylon, it was left over from another job, and when he drops them he might see where they are🤣

  11.  So these aren't my finest work, but I wanted to see if I could knock some covers up between jobs, if they fit and do the job I'll make some nicer ones, @strimmer_13 send me your address and I'll stick these in the post,  they'll cover up your turrets if nothing else.

    @bruno22rf

The thread was something like M23x0.7/0.75 I had to use a 1mm insert as it's the smallest I could find, and definitely the first time I've used a scope as a gauge 😊 not something I'd want to do with an expensive scope.

Agreed. It would be a place to start.
I grew up in and around the Lake District, and still live right on its periphery.
I think once restrictions are set in place you close the door on those who perhaps just want to go for a wander on a leisure basis; not everyone can afford to join the Helly-Hanson or Berghaus club, and not everyone wants to. There are many who just want to go for a wander on the Fells. There are many people who already regard the Lakes as an elitist, wealthy persons playground.

Your right, but a waterproof coat and boots should be basic for going up mountain climbing,  well walking.

This weekend you would have looked like you were dressed for Everest.

We used to do Snowdon and Crib in the olden days, we always went prepared for the worst conditions, i was taught as a kid of 12-13 all about the dangers of high peaks, and to turn back if there was any doubt whatsoever.

Maybe i was lucky to be gifted with probably more than my fair share of common sense, and to be brought up by the father i had.

    You and me both.

I did my Duke of Edinburgh awards years ago, you don't go up a mountain in shorts and t shirt, you go prepared for the weather to change because the chances are it will.

Going out in the weather we have had over the last few days is just plain stupid.

Wales new coach Wayne Pivac made a statement today “Wales should not panic we only need minor adjustments before we face the French”, I think he is the one that wants to start panicking I got feeling only win Wales will have this campaign will be the one against Italy.

Don't say that the Welsh fans will savage you!!

They always raise their game against England,  and we're not firing on all cylinders.
