Europe clearly doesn't have alternative energy sources in place at present or else the Ukraine situation wouldn't have created the energy crisis we are currently experiencing. Like it or not, until we secure alternative capacity we will be dependent on Russian energy supplies, so their loss is likely to cause untold hardship especially if we blindly continue down the path of wind, solar and unicorn farts.

Not sure how this would work in practice. The original jab, and all boosters to date, were for the original Wuhan strain, and the new bivalent booster is targeted at just Wuhan/Omicron. So basically, #5 boosted or not, you're screwed if you contract another variant your natural immunity can't handle.

Thanks guys. Looks like it would be a bit more complicated and costly than I'd hoped. Plugging essential appliances into the generator would be fine but the central heating electrical gubbins would be more of a challenge since that's hardwired into the mains circuit.

Just wondering, is it feasible to run a generator and connect the output to a domestic circuit to power the fridge/freezer and central heating controller etc? Well we've seen what happens against Usyk and I don't see Joshua beating Fury ether but the fight is probably there for him at some point assuming Fury beats Usyk, there's probably a few million in it for both of them so it would be rude not to.
