  1. Well it seems the definition of gene therapy is fluid enough that we can both consider ourselves correct, The assertion that "the mRNA from the vaccines does not enter the cell nucleus or interact with the DNA at all" is also questionable - in the presence of reverse-transcriptase it is entirely possible that the mRNA could do so, albeit accidentally rather than as an intended mechanism of action. "Reverse-transcribed SARS-CoV-2 RNA can integrate into the genome of cultured human cells and can be expressed in patient-derived tissues" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8166107/
  2. Stefan Oelrich, president of Bayer’s pharmaceuticals division: “We are really taking that leap [to drive innovation] – us as a company, Bayer – in cell and gene therapies … ultimately the mRNA vaccines are an example for that cell and gene therapy, Oelrich said. “I always like to say: if we had surveyed two years ago in the public – ‘would you be willing to take a gene or cell therapy and inject it into your body?’ – we probably would have had a 95% refusal rate.” ~08:40
  3. OK is the FDA creditable enough for you? https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/cellular-gene-therapy-products/what-gene-therapy There are a variety of types of gene therapy products, including: Plasmid DNA: Circular DNA molecules can be genetically engineered to carry therapeutic genes into human cells. Viral vectors: Viruses have a natural ability to deliver genetic material into cells, and therefore some gene therapy products are derived from viruses. Once viruses have been modified to remove their ability to cause infectious disease, these modified viruses can be used as vectors (vehicles) to carry therapeutic genes into human cells.

  5. Can you give us some examples where a peaceful demonstration has brought about significant change in government policy in the current pandemic? By the way the demonstrations in Ottawa were overwhelmingly peaceful - at least until parking a lorry became an act of violence, as were those in Australia, but both did nothing more than cause the ruling class to break out the jack-boots.
  6. And your evidence that significant numbers of people died due to the unjabbed being unjabbed is where? The vaccine was non-sterilising and did nothing to prevent covid spreading throughout the population - in fact there's copious data to show the vaccinated were more likely to catch and spread the virus. One example: The case rate among the unvaccinated is lower than every category of the vaccinated: https://publichealthscotland.scot/media/11223/22-01-19-covid19-winter_publication_report.pdf And your evidence that the unjabbed were responsible for the strain put on the healthcare systems is where? Again the difference between hospital admissions between jabbed and unjabbed is not statistically significant. (And because the unjabbed are a smaller proportion of the population their impact on the health service would be correspondingly less) It wasn't the unvaccinated filling up the hospital beds, the proportion of vaccinated people in hospital rose roughly in line with the rollout of the vaccine. Many, many people will die unnecessarily because an experimental gene therapy was rushed through testing and imposed on an unsuspecting public in the guise of a "safe and effective" vaccine. https://rairfoundation.com/cover-up-dod-silent-after-whistleblowers-expose-covid-vaccine-injuries-in-military/

Now there's talk of Tyson Fury taking a MMA match against Francis Ngannou...
  8. My comment had nothing to do with permission. We have a neighbour in the next street who has builders working on an extension. They park several vans in our street (a cul-de-sac) most days. On one occasion they were double parked and my wife needed to get her car out. I asked them to move a van and they did which allowed her to pass. Permission didn't come into it. Please post when you see any news about the Police who trampled the unresisting protestors being disciplined or charged
  9. Well it seems the truckers are receiving substantial support form Ottawa residents who have been supplying them with essentials such as food, water and fuel for their trucks, even at the risk of being criminalised and having their bank accounts frozen by their dictatorial government. Do you have any examples with evidence of truckers refusing reasonable requests from residents to allow them access to their properties? And it's not about something trivial like demanding government freebies - it's about bodily autonomy which is a fundamental of liberty.
  10. Trampling unresisting demonstrators with horses is lawful in Canada?
  11. No But for that poor zimmer-frame driving woman trampled by Police horses, that may well turn out to be her own personal tainanmen square moment. And how far would you like to see the authorities go if tear gas, rubber bullets, doxing, financial terrorisation and horse trampling just don't cut it?
  12. I'd tell the truckers they are free to refuse the vaccine if they so choose with no negative consequences to their ability to earn a living or go about their other lawful business. Problem solved. So a Canadian tiananmen square would be fine by you?
  13. You know, Justin Trudeou could just say "fine, don't take the vaccine if you don't want to - you're just sitting in your cabs all day on your own anyway" and they would all go back to work. I think we all know who the real bullies are in this situation. Please post some videos of ambulances being so obstructed.
  14. No, serious injuries are being caused to (genuine) peaceful protestors by the unjustified use of excessive force by the CMP at the instigation of an out of control government.
  15. The likes of Zoopla report the sale price a couple of months after a property is sold but not the identity of the buyer so unless you happened to personally know the seller you wouldn't know who the property was sold to. These firms you mention may well be front organisations for large financial institutions - how else would they secure the finance required to simultaneously purchase multiple properties up and down the country? And what is the fate of these properties once acquired by these firms - do they do them up and flip them or maybe let their staff live in them as a perk? Buying properties at discount from distressed sellers is certainly the way to go in terms of maximising return on investment. On the other hand we've been shocked to see multiple properties sold locally at 20% - 30% above the home report value and wondered who is making such offers in times of such economic uncertainty. If Lloyds entry into the market will result in a significant increase in new builds being started and added to the rental market I'm in favour of that, but their acquisition of 50,000 existing properties is hardly going to help the likes of smudger687 get on the housing ladder. https://www.landlordtoday.co.uk/breaking-news/2021/8/lloyds-bank-landlord-plans-even-bigger-than-first-anticipated

  17. If a private landlord letting out a few properties rattles your cage, this should really get you going. Brook v Khan

Excellent fight. They both went in with something to prove and at least early on there was always the chance that Khan might land something to turn it around, but Brook just overwhelmed him in the end. Great to see the genuine respect afterward - they came together several times and posed for pictures together. I think winner and loser can both walk away from this with respect.

I've always liked Brook but have to say I think Khan put up a much more convincing performance against Terence Crawford. I guess it will probably come down to who's glass chin gets tagged first.
  20. I remember a few years ago crossing on a "Zebra" crossing with a green man in Nice, with cars threading in front and behind the pedestrians as we crossed. Strangely enough a guy on the same Cruise with the same name as me was knocked down on a crossing that day and ended up in hospital. That caused a little bit of confusion here and there. I saw something the other day about a new rule that drivers now have to open their car door with their left hand as that "encourages" you to turn round as you open the door making you more likely to spot a cyclist trying to knock your mirrors off with their handlebars 🤐

One has to wonder how far and fast the technology of burning gas can advance. From what I've been told the problem with Worcester Bosch is they are trading on their reputation and cutting corners - using plastics where they used to use more durable materials. Hydrogen is an energy storage/transport system rather than a source of energy and converting energy to hydrogen then heat incurs an efficiency penalty.

Now now, the preferred term is "climate change" as that covers all eventualities 😝 To answer the original question I had my boiler installed by Boxt a couple of years ago based on recommendations on this forum. I also signed up for their servicing plan. No complaints though I've been since advised there are better options than the Bosch Worcester models they favour.
  23. Out with my 8yo Lab Louie last night on his evening walk, I spotted a guy about 30yds ahead who appeared to be being taken for a walk by his dog. As I got closer I realised we'd met this dog a couple of times before - it's an American Bulldog, probably about a year old but BIG and all muscle - quite intimidating even when it's just standing looking at you. Whereas before It had been in the company of a young guy, this time it was with an older man, probably 70ish. As we got closer he moved with the dog up onto an embankment so we were about 20 feet apart as we passed. The dog clocked Loiue and, despite the guy telling it "no" several times, lunged towards Louie, pulling the guy off his feet and dragging him down the embankment and onto the pavement. He was only just managing to hold onto the leash, being fully stretched out on the pavement, and I was thinking "oh man, what's going to happen if he lets go of that leash". The funny thing is Louie seemed quite unfazed by all this, he didn't react with aggression or show any signs of fear. He's pretty laid back but will respond if confronted with out-and-out aggression, or maybe more-so when very alpha dogs give him "the eye". On the other hand I've often seen him just stand there or step back when another dogs are yapping and snarling in his face so I reckon he's pretty good at reading a situation and knows when they are acting out of nervousness and there's no need to engage. So maybe this dog just wanted to play and Louie read the situation correctly. We just moved further away and I asked the guy if he was OK and he said yes so we kept walking. No contact was made and no-one was injured AFAIK but this was certainly an uncomfortable experience for me and I dread to think of this happening to any of the other dog walkers in town, a couple of whom are little old ladies with toy breeds. What do you think - should I report this, or leave it and hope the owners have learned something from the event? Cheers
  24. Hmm yes, have to agree that's a tough one. Best wishes to you and your mum. That's good to know. Didn't think there was scope for me to go down in anyone's estimation around here 😀
