By then no the bio wads are now coming through and hopefully everyone will use them. I already do loading 8 and 10 bore ..I hope to have cracked 12 and 28 bore imminently

This! Use it on all my sticks

Last week was a cold one with temperatures down to -8 but we survived. The boys are just not daunted by the cold and are in and out of the burns like it’s July. I have on more layers than an onion and thank goodness for heated waistcoats!

A massive thanks to Shambam for the pens he kindly turned and sent to me. Bot are beautiful to write with and a treasure to own….so generous. As old school who still writes with a fountain pen it’s wonderful to have something of such Quality… THANK YOU!

Shot benellis on geese in Canada, higher pressure loads, big steel shot and with thousands of rounds per season and no problems

A lot of small mobile phone stores sell second hand tablets cheap. It’s worth looking in some of them

I have a couple of Yildiz as I preferred them over Kofs. At this end of the market you are buying a couple of steel tubes, an action and a bit of wood. I never get too angst about it as long as it goes Bang!

Yes going forward it’s a case if just being there for them. Get them out for a coffee or a beer etc and listen.

Just right something like sorry you have lost…name… no other words to,express it just my thoughts and prayers

NFU would not cover my collection

All of my dogs are castrated at about 18 months. I have never had an issue with it, they are good workers and some of the issues with boys aren’t present in mine. I know it was forced on you but it will be fine!

You need to watch this carefully. There are several other points. You need to check when your guns are covered. Some cover them but not unless secured so not in a slip in a car. Others won’t cover more than one gun out of the cabinet at a time. As I have a “small collection” I have had to take out specialist home insurance with Covea and it’s not cheap. They did pay out on repairs a few years ago though when I fell and knocked the loop off the barrel!

I have about 100 no 3 and a good supply of it which I use in my 8 bore. It is my favourite by far. Was thinking of selling the shells at some point but loose shot I buy when available although probably have enough now to see me out 😂 -
Unfortunately the way it is and we are the fortunate ones as we have more than the state pension and no mortgage!
