Hi Im looking for an air rifle that my sons can use but have hunting suitable power. Light weight will be a big consideration as we can cover some distance to get in air rifle distance of rabbits Thanks

Shame that you are so far away otherwise you could try mine. Disadvanages - Wind drift, Loud, Meat damage if you don’t head shoot. Advantages- very accurate, point and shoot out to 130M with 100M zero, convincing on rabbits and foxes (out to a sensible range), cheaper to feed than cf

Stupidly I didn’t have my phone.. We do have a good population of Owls so could well be that , Buzzards are nearby but I’ve never seen them on this stretch and we do have the odd sparrow hawk..

A quick mooch around tonight looking for Branchers and I stumbled across a neat pile of grey Partridge bones with a handful of feathers attached. It’s was a very neat job with pretty much just keg and wing bones left behind. Any ideas?

A number of us have, if you aren’t in the longstanding groovy gang then you are ignored, it’s purely a mechanism to fund their club land etc, waste of time and it’s an Essex club...

Access to 100 farms? Jesus! Maybe it’s too much land to really keep an eye on? I regularly shoot over 3 farms totalling less than 3,000 acres and struggle to keep up with that at times... Msybe narrow the search

I’d look at the BASC scheme, I joined a wildfowling club, couldn’t have been more cliquey and unwelcoming and was set up purely to extract cash from people so as the in crowd could shoot for free..

Outrageous, so we get stuck with 300% uplift...
