  1. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264780597857 I was given one of these about 10 years ago and it lasted until this year, when the main LED failed, the other 2 were fine, so I ordered another one. The same torch different make, takes 2 18650 batteries. The ones that come with it are rubbish, but I have my own 18650s. Very bright and minimum functions. Good luck
  2. chickens are keen on leather jackets but make sure the beds are empty as they do more damage than the insects!
  3. I'm in Wales and I'm licensed and the exam was quite easy. My view on the the regs etc is that it forces you to keep your property in good order. Before licensing I looked at the property and said would I be happy for any of my boys to live in it and therefore kept it up too scratch and also keeping it saleable. My current tenant used to own the house but domestic situations etc , she ended up renting. I took her on and was happy as she was on benefits and that was brilliant when covid struck and people couldn't work, my rent still kept coming in.
  4. Elect Boris as leader again in time for the Parliamentary Privileges Committee investigation to find him in contempt of parliament and basically he couls lose his seat What punishments could Boris Johnson face? Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle confirmed the committee’s findings would fall within the remit of the Recall of MPs Act, following advice from a leading lawyer. That would mean a suspension of 10 or more sitting days, or 14 calendar days, would trigger a recall petition. If at least 10% of voters in Mr Johnson’s Uxbridge and South Ruislip seat demand a by-election he would lose his place as an MP, but would be eligible to stand again in the contest. ITV are already reporting that that the end is nigh https://www.itv.com/news/2022-10-21/damning-partygate-evidence-means-boris-johnson-could-be-gone-by-christmas This would absolutely shaft the country yet again 😞
  5. One of my colleagues in Romania asked me what was going on in the UK, because he said that is was pretty normal in his country for chaos, corruption etc in the government, but he said he thought 'civilised' countries like the UK didn't have those scandals!! I laughed - sad
  6. It shows the state of the Conservative party if he's considered as a candidate - shown to be an unfit leader once and now he's considered to be the best of a bunch of self centered clowns. This only shows the priority of this government to put themselves first and sod the rest of the country. I'm fuming with the whole circus - reports say that one health board could have saved 40 babies by doing a proper job, hungry cold kids in school and htey are more concerned with their own standing!!
  7. When I used to cycle to work pre covid, I had a couple of dry bags, the first was a Lomu and then started it started to peel and leak. My next one was an Overboard drybag and its been excellent with no deterioration.
  8. Just wondering if you could get a variation for S1 slug for boar, they use them a lot in France. Cetainly enough energy in a slug at 75 to 100mtrs.
  9. Near Neath, Neath guns gave up their RFD a few years ago and now only sell airgun kit, A1 in Pontadawe have also now just sell air guns and run airgun ranges. This leaves Keen's Guns in Bridgend and they are having difficulties getting hold of any other makes of sub sonics.
  10. Just realised how old I must be to be discussing PPIs, but I would have taken them 10 years previously to miss acid reflux
  11. I've been on Lansaprsole for about 4 years after bouts of gastritis and lots of acid reflux and it's been a life changer! Admitedly I put on a lod of weight as I was no longer having to ride the porcelain pony after eating faty food. Annual magnesium blood tests and all good. I've tried cutting down and it gets to about 3 days and the gastritis starts up and I start feling rough. Brilliant stuff.
  12. put it on wood burners groups on FB or if you want to sel FB Marketplace
  13. We use an app called alltrails https://www.alltrails.com/ vey good for building up your hiking fitness as all the trails are graded and you can submit your own route. Even alerts you if you stray off the path.
  14. From Mainline's site it looks like he only does shotgun cartridges, no mention of rimfire or other fac ammo, would have been handy!
  15. My 2 nearest ones now just deal with air rifles and pistols
  16. i've been trying to source different makes of rimfire ammo and have found out that all the old RFD's are giving up as too much hassle. My nearest one is Bridgend and that is about 30 miles away 😞 Is this the same in other parts of the country?
  17. I've just had approximately 2 acres passed for rimfire - it's in a small valley and has loads of trees and marsh but it's about 15 meters below housing and road level. I pointed out in which direction I would shoot and the backstops and she was fine with it but I can only shoot north to south which is fine as that's the way the foxes travel.
  18. Went out last evening until rain stopped play! Defintely the winchester subs at fault! First shot air rifle quiet, shot about 20 rounds and the last one was much quieter and dropped on the target. I'm staying clear of Winchesters from now on!
  19. There were 2 of us shooting and the first shot was definetely louder. When it stops raining I'll give it another go.
  20. The RFD only had a couple of boxes of winchester subs left, nothing else! As I also have a slot for a WMR he tried to sell me one and so I asked him how much the rounds were and then he admitted that they don't sell WMR ammo any more so I passed on his offer 🙂
  21. I wish I'd bought this model instead of the field Hunter - they are both great but I like the tactical bits with the MP. The pump is my go to fox gun now. Good luck with the sale!!
  22. I'm using winchester subs, after the first shot the sound is more like a high powered air rifle, but it is a no name mod that doesn't even have a serial, RFD said it was OK
  23. morning guys FAC finally arrived Friday and I've bought a used CZ452 with scope and mod. Is it normal for a the first round to be louder than the subsequent shots? My son reckons it's because the mod fills wiith gas and this helps, but that would mean the first shot is always loud? cheers
