Hey guys! I was hoping someone could help me out I've been doing some research on the UK gun laws for a short YouTube video I'm putting together I can't seem to find any up to date information on how many rounds would be allowed to be stored per calibre maximum I know that under a sgc license it's pretty much unlimited for certain ammo but I read there was a limit on rimfire, also another question I have is is it compulsory to keep your rimfire bullets locked away from where the guns are stored or can they be stored in the same place? TIA Lee

I recently bought this for my 22lr, however I have bought a 17hmr instead and left the 22 with the scope on it. Im looking for something with more mag and a side focus for the 17hmr so this is up for sale - looking for £80 posted which is what I paid. Here is the original ad with photos.

Good evening gents, Is it me or are there more Grey's about than usual? I've seen and been shooting quite a few. I like to use a lower power round. At the moment i'm on Remington Cbees. They look poor out of the box but now i've practiced a bit with them I've got it so I can land them on the right spot. Hardly any RFD's stock low powered LR rounds where I live. I'm shooting them between 10 and 30 yards. OK some might say get a FAC Air Rifle but hang the expense I say. Anyone else using these LP .22 LR rounds? Any opinions / views welcomed. Thank you.

Hi everyone I have 500 rounds of Blazer which I bought not realising this is High-Velocity stuff and my club doesnt allow it. I'll flog it for £25 which obviously works out extremely cheap. IDEALLY THOUGH... I would like to swap for 500 rounds of anything Subsonic/Normal Velocity (Somewhere around 1085 fps) Let me know guys. Cheers

I hav a 240 acre permission which is best accessed at dusk or early morning. Lots of foxes, birds, rabbits, best suited to air or shotgun in a hide. I will let you attend my permission when you like, if I can get a spot on your permission to allow me to shoot closer to the middle of the day on my .22lr which I am awaiting my FAC for (I already have shotgun cert). We both hold on to our permissions ourselves, but we each let the other have access to them as well as well as the normal introductions to the land owner if applicable to you, to help with getting the land approved for rimfire etc. I am based in the west midlands.

Good evening gents, I hope you've all had a good day. I had a good look round today for a few pigeons but we've had zip all wind. Time i checked out the zero on the rimfires as i haven't been out after bunny for a while and next week is a goer. So here goes: I'm no target shooter. I used to like crawling around on the ground. These days i like to use a stick and a seat when not shooting from the motor. Not as accurate IMHO but results are good. Here's the "test" set up. Basic isn't it? All the ranges quoted on the targets are measured distances and not my guesswork. I nicked a little table from the missus's BBQ set up which is pretty darn handy. I decided to start with the .22 my main bunny gun. I wanted to test / try various ammo. Bottom left Remington CBees Top Left and Middle RWS HP Subs Top Right SK HP Subs Bottom Right RWS HP High Velocity Now for some results: First up RWS Hp Subs: : Now for the good old Winny's Sk's shoot pretty good. I like to carry a low powered round. My God if you look at Rem CBees you would wonder how they ever get to the target, really poorly made. I like 'em for close rabbits. All well and good. Now let's let the hummer out of the sleeve. Then some ammo and spare mag. Top Hornady V-Max 17g Middle Winchester 17g Bottom CCI Gamepoint 20g I shot the last three remaining rounds from different batch at the bottom left target. So all is well. I'm happy enough. Have a good weekend everybody.

Hello all, new to the forum and looking for some advice if possible. been shooting a .22lr for a few years and have just purchased my first .17hmr this week (cz455 thumbhole with lepold 3-9x50 vrx scope) i have zeroed at poa straight off at a 100 yards and getting just over 1 inch groups off rest using hornady vmax 17gr. been out last 2 days shooting out of vehicle window and have taken several shots at magpies and crows around 70-130 yard mark and have not hit a thing, getting a bit frustrated!. wind has been 10-20 mph, how much does wind affect .17, also should i be holding under, over for these ranges? Have been told by a couple of people who have the same gun that should be flat from 50- 130 yards, am beginning to think not?. i am used to shooting the .22 which requires regular adjustments for holdover etc, or is it just me, should i re-zero?. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards
