mikee
i'm sure the "an hour before dawn til an hour after sunset" thing applies to hares, they are game not vermin, be careful or watching videos of shooting may well be the only shooting you get mikee

(Reread some legistation - I'm sure someone here can quote it). I've never had a problem with Gypsys and hares (only gypsies and deer...) and I've got nothing against them, and no reason to blast them to smithereens with a .17 - in fact I quiet enjoy them frolicking about during the year. They cause no great damage, and unless they are attracting ####s, I see no reason to give them such an unsporting end. Alpha Mule
If I remember correctly (on another thread) it's not '####s' that are the problem, but other 'migrants' shall we say.

Dave-G
Well PW really has got quite tame - I only posted the topic to liven the place up a tad. I got some clips done but most were to dark to see on the edges of my headlight beam pattern - more clips needed before I post it up.

Baldrick
Illegal coursing isn't just limited to ******: yes, Eastern European immigrants partake, but so too do seemingly respectable taxpayers. The ****** seem to have lost interest in our hares for the time, preferring to steal (or just bludgeon) our free-range turkeys. Such delightful people. Lamping hares is of course legal, but it is dull work.
