Salop Matt
Vote options now showing ! I voted other as i shoot fox with rifle and shotgun ! What ever i have to hand . I dont specifically go out for fox but do take them when asked or if the shot is available. If am walking round and shooting rough then its the SG 12bore and if its when am out lamping its sub 50yards with a 17HMR or .22LR ! ollie
Generally I shoot foxes with the shotgun as we drive out blocks of cover for foxes with the hounds and shoot them. Have shot them with rifle in the past though.

Zapp
I use a shotgun as it is the most suitable thing I have currently (without wanting to ignite the .17 for foxes debate). They arent a massive problem where I shoot, but if I ever needed to get serious about them I would go for a centrefire. Hope this helps. robmiller
I said Shotgun. This being with what i have disposed of most with. Bascally my shooting is day time rough walk around and most foxes are opportunist sightings and dispatched with thats to hand. I have dispatched with the rifle but as i say, most with shotgun. dazco2121
Using the rifle is much more humane way of targeting foxes. Most of the time they don't seem to know what hit em Edited November 24, 2009 by dazco2121
henry d
Other, as in both rifle and shotty.
Stealth Stalker
I voted rifle, being the most humane way of dealing with them, me & Garyb have notched up over 90 between us this year. SS
