Put rope bangers on 3 other fields to keep the birds on the move . Set up by 11.45 and shot till 3pm using a magnet and 20 plus decoys . Magboy made the shot of the day taking 3 birds to 2 shots , jammy *** . Also, I don't want to put you off, but too much pigeon shooting makes you go off the boil on clays, so when Chard next gives you a whooping, you'll know why. Cat. Imperfection Posted December 27, 2009 Report Share Posted December 27, 2009 Been a total numpty to this game can you explain what banger ropes are and how to use them and where to get them please You normally get them from rural gunshops,agricultural suppliers etc and are sometimes known as crow scarers.Normally have a 1/2hr fuse between each banger and you stick them in fields which you dont want the pigeons to settle in.The random bangs keep them moving.
