I take no sides, but would be interested to know if anyone here has *not* lent a DVD, CD, piece of software or Book to someone :hmm:

 

Technically even lending a copy of a legitmately purchased DVD or CD is illegal (without paying royalties). And yes it is the same as downloading or copying because you are depriving the intellectual rights holder of income through a sale that could have been.

 

That's not even scratching the whole downloading, copying, photocopying, cracked version or public broadcast without a PRS license thing.

 

Those without and throwing the first stone and all that.
