well done - thats the way to do it, nice and steady. :yes:

 

I'm not doing too well just topped 15 st but as I work in a hospital I went for the technical approach - find all the scales and go for the lightest set. Didn't work, want to drop 1 st - so it's back to the 'dog-diet' I take my working cocker out for more shooting and he eats 1/2 my lunch.

 

My weight went up during the shooting season, with so many birds to make the bag we only had to do 3 or 4 drives, so we sat in the beaters truck eating home made cakes and drinking - funny how now the season is well over the weight doesn't drop off. :yes:

Glad it is not just me! Thought it would a bit "girlie" to ask others, but oh well.

 

I plan to loose 2lbs per week over the next 12 weeks.

 

We are off on a cruise round the Caribbean over Easter and I need to get into my Speedos :yes::yes:

 

I will be doing the Cereal diet, 2 bolws per day.

 

 

Well might as well update!

 

I am down 10 lbs over 10 weeks, so fairly steady, nothing major, just cutting out after meals snaks. Still have weekly take-away, and no extra excersise.

 

Now down at 12 st, and 2 weeks to go until need to fit in my speedo's (as above) would like to get to 11st 8lbs.

Did you stick too the cereal diet.?

 

I only have about four pounds too lose. But cant seem too

 

At the moment am exercising morning.afternoon and evening(when my job lets me)

 

None of my clothes fit me they are all loose . I seem to spend most of my days now mooning at people.

 

Also though all the exercising i am firming up in places i never knew i had. :yes:

Sweepy reckons it like going to bed with the different women each week :yes:

 

But i just cant lose these Four pounds. I know its silly but its really bugging me.

 

O and the best bit my BMI tells me that i am obese and need to lose about two stone :hmm: (not that i take any notice of that) :yes:

If i was to lose Two Stone i would end up looking like a walking skeleton :lol:

Well I've started dieting and exercising again. There's been a reduction but I'm up in V8landy country this weekend and a night out in Beverley might put paid to that :yes:

 

24/02/10 - 14st 13lb

03/03/10 - 14st 10.5lb

10/03/10 - 14st 9.5lb

Basicaly yes. I now always have it for my breakfast, and somtimes for lunch ( only when at work mon - fri) other times I might just have a few bits of fruit.

 

Weekends, soup or somthing.

 

Evening meals, just cut down on portion sizes, there is just the two of us, but for e.g when making a curry we had 2 breasts ech and the whole jar of source, which clearly lists as for 4 persons, so we now just have 1 breast each and half the jar, the rest in the freezer for another time.

 

Also has saved us a few £ as well.

 

But friday is our take out night and a kebab it will be :yes:

Thats where I am orginaly from! And we are also out this Sat night in Beverley, but a civilised meal out with my mate and is wife.

 

Have you been out in Beverley before? There are quite a mix of pubs to try.

OMG

 

just got last years dinner suit out as its almost Oil Barons Ball time....

 

I was fat last year..... this year i cant do the trousers up by some margin :yes:

My wife and I are shooting at EYGC on Sunday - so it won't be a riotous assembly :yes: I'll have a pint in Nellie's Bar then probably a ride down to the Fawcett Arms at Walkington for some grub. I've been going to EYGC, and therefore Beverley, since the 80s so know my way round pretty well.

Sweepy needs to lose abit of weight and he do try (sometimes)But all it takes if for someone to say to him.

My god you look like you have lost weight. And he takes it as the sign that he has lost enough.

So its back on the old fish and chips suppers again :yes::yes:

I have placed my lunch order with the lads...... steak and kidney pie, a savaloy, large onion, chips and a diet coke :lol:

I was down -2 lbs this week. 15st 6lbs......... 15/01/10

Down......-1lb.......this week 14st 13 1/4........06/02/10..Under 15st..in the back of the net..

The body doesn't want to give up the last few pounds as I approach somewhere near my goal weight of 14 ish Stone, this is inevitable, it's the bodies natural defence mechanism to hold on to body fat, but 11 Weeks into the Lifestyle change I have now lost 17 1/4 Pounds, am a lot fitter, and need new trousers, I would be interested to hear how others have done with their weight loss.

Lack of will power if the truth be told :good: I find it hard to get out of bed and down the gym at 06.30 and there's been a slight slippage on the food and drink front over the last two weeks - the trouble is the weight goes on quicker than it comes off afterwards.

Well i have manage too lose five pounds this week.

Had a very busy week at work.

So my training has gone out of the window :good:

And i have missed a few meals.

So i suppose that would explain the weight lost. :lol:

 

Am working this evening so Sweepy is going to do one of his homemade curry for when i get in.

And you cant have curry without a bottle of red(or two).

 

So by tomorrow morning i should think i would have found those five pounds again.

O well Men like their women big, Dont they. :lol:

My PT & I have come to an agreement. I will stay off booze, cheese, the OH's home baking and corned beef hash for all of april and if there are no definate results by the end of the month then he'll give me a month free. Have just started to get back in to it after weighing in at 16 stone 5oz. Only have one pair of jeans that fit me at the mo and even they're getting tight.

 

We'll see what the coming month brings.

Mungler's back on a diet.

 

Started Wednesday 24th March, I have a weigh in on 31st March and will update.

 

It is strict and a complete ******* misery but it's fast and it works. It's the Lifestyle change that needs to happen in long term that is proving to be the issue.

I have been putting it off and the weight has been creeping back on. 2 years ago I dropped 4 stone quickly and 2 years later I have put 3.5 stone back on :oops:

 

Well, it's been 2 years of good living and now it's time to pay.....

 

I sit at a desk all week and instead of having 1 "dirty" meal a week (restaurant /; takeaway with booze etc), I am on about 1 a day. Even cutting back on other meals can't counter act that.

 

For example: I started the diet on Wednesday a.m. so:

 

Wednesday lunchtime - business meeting in the local curry house. I watched my colleagues smash through a large Indian and a few bottles of red with clients whilst I had fizzy water.

 

Thursday evening - syndicate meet in local pub. I drove and had fizzy water whilst watching ME and others smash through a massive pub dinner (home made Steak and Ale pie, chips, peas and beans) washed down with about 4 pints.

 

Friday evening dinner round my brothers and his missus - they weren't cooking so I watched them demolish a chinese takeaway and a few bottles of white.

 

Saturday (today) - out to dinner at friends' house - they are avid cooks - everyone else will be eating very well and it will be a heavy drinking session - good crowd and always a good night out.

 

Sunday (tomorrow) - Sunday lunch round the old dears....

 

Well you get the idea. Every day there is always something to lead me off the path of a low calorie existance. And alas I have never been the one to go out to a Restaurant and order a salad.

 

Will get the numbers up shortly......

 

Yours in misery for about another 10 weeks.
