SirFox
Some of the comments made me laugh. 2010 is the year of Nationalism! :o Me too I just think the BNP are better than UKIP.
SirFox
I thought it was Scottish? Whatever it was the video sums up what is happening to this country, even in a slightly dramtic way.
RC45
Me too I just think the BNP are better than UKIP. I like a lot of what they say, but I think UKIP have a better chance of making an impression. Anyway, if UKIP and the BNP can have a good showing at the elections, it would certainly show all those greedy people in Westminster and the Lords.. As for DC, I could never vote for someone who is related to the Royal family...

Nial
Labour for all its faults............cant bear to vote anythin else..............SORRY ITS A CLASS THING I just don't understand this mentality. Fair enough if you've looked at all the options and what they'll bring for the country in the future and decided that you think Labour are our best bet. But to say you're voting Labour because of your class is incredibly blinkered. What is class these days anyway? Nial
Nial
The time shall come when we can proudly state that we're British! I proudly state I'm British now! We should get rid of the lords completely in my opinion. Why? They are supposed to be there as a check on the lower house. Is it not better to have a house where most are independant and can make decisions as they see best for the country, rather than a house where they are party 'stooges' or make short term decisions based on getting re-elected. The house of lords isn't ideal but so far no-one's come up with a better system. Nial.
Aled
Has anybody considered voting for a person rather than a party? There are Nationlists, Labour. Tories, Lib Dem, who are pro field sports and others from all parties who are anti. I tend to vote for the person not the party. RC45
The house of lords isn't ideal but so far no-one's come up with a better system. Like MP's they should be voted in by the people, instead of jobs for the boys. Too many influential posts go to the brown nose, these people should serve the public not their bosses. Has anybody considered voting for a person rather than a party? There are Nationlists, Labour. Tories, Lib Dem, who are pro field sports and others from all parties who are anti. Breastman
As much as it pains me i'll be voting for the Conservatives, imho they're the only ones with a chance of getting in that half give a hoot about shooting. The main problem thats going to come out of this election is a hung parliment. As can be seen just from this forum everyones all over the place. If Cameron only wins by a small majority it will mean he'll be more easily influenced to vote against 'negative' policies i.e anything to do with hunting or shooting. :o Mark P.S. If you are going to make a protest vote for godsake don't vote for the Liberals or the Green Party! You might aswell hand your guns over with your voting card
unclestuffy
Is it just my perception or do more tories shoot then labour MP's. The conservatives have promised to overturn the hunting with dogs bill - it strikes me that labour is not a supporter of shooting so would not get my vote. Unfortunatley the rest of the policies blur into the usual lies and spin and in two years time the new MP's have skimmed more money from the tax payer and nothing has improved. A "no vote" is not taken as a protest but just plays into the three major parties hands ie labour supporters not voting rather than voting conservative still increase the relative percentage of th ewinning party. Is there is a percieved risk in voting for party that has no experience in running the coutnry?

RC45
So forget all the other issues, just vote DC because he will help our sport... lmao What we need is for the three main parties to get a bloody nose come election time, the shooting scene will not be any worse off in twelve months time. We can't let the MP's think their actions don't have consequences. Hopefully after the elections, there will be lots of MP's on the Dole! SirFox
We need some UKIP and BNP MP's in Parliment to shake things up. We need major reform in this country and not a few changes here and there. The current lot don't listen to use so we must remove them. The electorate wan't and end to immigration. So end it! The electorate wan't a referendum on the EU. Give a referendum! The electorate wan't to withdraw troops from Afganistian. So withdraw! Any politicans who refuses to bow to public will should be sacked and possibly imprisoned. They do whatever they wan't and don't care about the people that put them there. If they don't do their job then get rid of them! Simples. Edited February 8, 2010 by SirFox
