death from below
Listed my crappy old motor on ebay yesterday - sold it for the asking price within 2 minutes by a bidder with no history - suprise suprise I've sent several messages and no reply - a time waster I reckon. It does make me wonder that there must really be some saddo's out there who get a buzz from wasting other people's time. Still, some one else is interested so not all is lost. steve_b_wales
I thought that when you make a bid on Ebay, it's legally binding.

jonno 357
I thought that when you make a bid on Ebay, it's legally binding. Afraid not. You can retract you bid. You don't have to pay if you don't want. Eventually they will kick you off

bruno22rf
If he bought your car "buy it now" then you should be able to get his name and address-pop round and "have a word"
Fisherman Mike
This Happened to me once when I sold a Suzuki Vitara........... The guy gave me all sorts of **** when he didnt show up to collect it. Kept stalling over the deposit etc... I should have Known better I relisted the vehicle and sold it, but kept tabs on the previous non purchaser and 6 months later he advertised a 05 plate Clio. Myself and a bloke from work set up bogus Ebay accounts using our elderly Fathers addresses and emails and bid it up over 5 days to 3000 above the asking price. I then emailed him after the close of sale and told him the same excuses he gave me...............The silence was deafening...........Revenge was Oh so sweet.
