apache
What loads do you put through the 20G?
motty
I've found that saga 28gm 6.5's do the job. They're only about £130 a thousand, too.
anser2
You have got me thinking about a 20 bore Motty with 20 bore shells at that price. They are £220 a thousand in my local gunshop.
Dekers
There are a number of low recoil (usually a bit slower) cartridges available, worth a look, also you do not say what you shoot...a SEMI may be useful!! Unless you are pretty close you do not want too light a cartridge as you will end up pricking everything!
Redgum
A semi is definetly the way to go if you want to soften the recoil on a 12 gauge, had an old Browning ( think it was a twelvet) Brilliant pigeon gun, I made a big mistake in selling it. benbaikal
get yourself a semi auto best thing i did then you can shoot 30g or 32g and not feel a thing and less tired at the end of a days pigeon shooting
seeker
if your 12 is same weight/heavier than your 20 why not try the same load weight /brand etc through your 12?
Guest cookoff013
get a semi, you`re lucky it runs subs. if you cant get subs. use 1,a lighter cartridge, 2,or a slower one.

ebygum32
I started shooting with a 20 as was told to by mate, (only clays) and shoot 21g plastic, shot my mates 12 and could not believe the difference in recoil, hardly any on the 12 compaired to the 20, but like my 20 and want to get good shot with that before buying a 12, Where are you getting the 20's at £130/1000 as i am paying £45/250 plastic
