dan the gun
these types of lamps are a no no in my opinion but i do lamp almost every week if not more. i would say go for a lightforce but if you dont want to spend that much for a new lamp try posting on the wanted page for a 2nd hand one. dan

I know its not going to be the best but i am only going to be going out for a couple of times a year. can i still have your opinions to see what you guys thanks.? steve0146
I've never used the LED types but some of the other rechargable ones should be ok for you, try ebay, they sometimes have some things on there.
humperdingle
I've never used an LED lamping kit. LEDs have certainly come a fair way from when they first came out, so this one might well be good enough. I can only speak from experience, however, and say that for pure light-throwing ability, the Lightforce is hard to beat. Wiring on them is a bit rubbish, though, so you'll find a soldering iron handy
steve_b_wales
I don't think that the lamp would be of much use. Plus, if you are buying it from America, you may get clobbered with a duty charge from our friends in HM Customs/Excise. A good lightweight lamp is the Cluson Blaserlite (2 million cp) which can be easily converted to a lamp scope. I use one regulary, and they are brilliant. artschool
i go lamping once week and use a tracer mini pro with red filter. whatever you go for make sure its got a dimmer as you will want to be able to control the beam.
clampet
Cluson Blaserlite are the way ahead, i use mine maybe 3 nights aweek. Its good for the airrifle with red filter or the hmr. Its also used for the lurcher. cracking wee lamp. they are not big money either. I get about 4 hours lamping out of it. It dies a bit quicker when hunting with the lurcher. SSS
Iowuldntgowith that to behonest, you would be better off spending more money and getting a clulite or a lightforce 170 variable power jobby. All the best

This could be ok, but there are plenty of others gun mounted and with a dimmer which makes life very easy....There is no need for the likes of a LF 170 if you are talking about air rifle ranges!!
