chris64 Posted April 23, 2010 Report Share Posted April 23, 2010 (edited) Got an invite of a good mate to go decoying on pea drilling's, last saturday just got pic's downloaded,took the brand new escort didnt miss abeat allday,also took my home made rotary with me set that up about 15yds to my right worked a treat swoped the battery for an broken dishwasher when the rag/bone man came round, as i was helping him lift washer on to his truck noticed battery asked him how much told me avit for washer bargin ran for 7hours still going when packed up ,started about 7am got set up mate at the other end of feild, i put out 20 half shell's first shot about 8am not a cloud to be seen got very warm down to tshirt by 9am,mostly blacks in the mornin then the pigeons came in steadly for the rest of the day finnished about 4,had a great day total just for me was 47 pigeon's 35jackdaws 8crow's and 3 rook's 1squirrel. chris64 Posted April 26, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2010 Thank's for the incuridgement only the 7th time i've been decoying with a shotgun had sgc 10month's,since work & other thing's have kept me away for about 6yrs lost about 2000acrs of land ,allway's prefferd airrifle but now got the bug,so start from scratch again lot harder this time thou, The blackie's never botherd with the rota just came down if i pourd myself cup of tea looked up thered be a blackie about 3-4yrds of the hide, but nothing come,s between me & me cupa so let him by yes it is a escort staight out of the box wiped it down cleaned the bore and away we whent,it's no benneli but its mine and it's a tool todo ajob ive got the browning for the clays so i can stop scratchin that now & i think its done well for it's first day.
