Bobba
I have searched the forum but cannot find an answer to my particular query. I am looking for quite a high seat / stool, say to 24 - 26 inches off ground height, as getting up from anything significantly lower is difficult as I have not long had a hip op (12 weeks). I have a three legged stool similair to our sponsor which requires sitting on a triangle. This is now most uncomfortable. I have an adjustable shooting stick, but the spike is short and it falls over everytime I stand up, which is irritating in the extreme. I suspect at the end of the day I may have to manufacture a camp stool from wood and webbing but before doing so I thought I would consult fellow shooters foe any ideas / info. Thank you. wymberley
Hi, Target Sports do a goody. Look under hide building equipment for swivel seat chair. This is about 2 to3 inches higher than the bucket seats (have both and just checked) and has a good back support to boot. Now the bad news; I've just had a shufti and it's currently out of stock. As others have said on another thread, this really is comfortable and is easy to stand up from so a phone call to check on availability may be a good idea. harpoonlouis
Would like to find just the spinning seat bit, my mate has a disposal problem of hundreds of 5 gal containers! US site showed the spinning tops for about $8! Would prefer to just get the seat unit if poss.

Cranfield
Don't forget you can get waterproof cushions (foam blocks) in varying thicknesses from most camping/outdoor type shops (or make your own), that can fit on top of any seat to make it a bit higher. My friend has one for his bucket seat and carries it inside the bucket bit.
