Hodmedod.one
This one is going to the Taxidermist- Not much of a stalk really. I saw a Muntjac Doe walk out of a small wood around 130yds away from where I was standing. A few seconds later this old boy followed her. I already had the sticks set up and a 100gn .243 in the engine room dropped him on the spot. Well pleased

mick miller
A nice trophy head, I look forward to seeing it when it comes back from the taxidermist, finished and in all its glory; the ignominious 'wheelie bin' mount just doesn't do it justice. I don't know what you mean- I chose the brown bin as the black and green ones didn't match the fur

Dunkield
HD.one, have you measured the antlers to access their medal status? Of course you may have already done this, but if not, unlike some animals it's pretty easy.

Hodmedod.one
Just so you know, its: 56 points or above = Bronze 58.5 to 60.9 = Silver 61 points and above = Gold I have just measured the head using the sheet you kindly posted and it has come out at 72.2 points. I am absolutely delighted and will be taking it to the Midland Game Fair to get it measured for a medal at the BDS stand.
Dunkield
Even better - well done I am not sure what it is now (I am just quoting from a book) but up to 2003 the UK record was 79.5 points
