ollie
As per title, what do you do with Sloes? On our syndicate there is an abundance of them this year and I would like to put them to use. I know a lot of people make sloe gin but is there any other use for them? Make lovely alchoholic flapjacks with all the gin steeped sloes left over after bottling your sloe gin. cotswoldgirl
apart from Sloe Gin, you can always do Sloe Whisky, Sloe Vodka (i'm thinking about doing a blackberry & Sloe Vodka), Sloe Jam and I think if you look on the BBC Website, you can do Duck or Pheasant and Sloes and I gotta feeling that you can use the spent Sloes with some melted chocolate and make them into sloe chocolates. Good Luck. If you need a Guinea Pig for any of your recipes, give me a shout!
