Wookie
That's good shooting that is! I haven't got any of my groups up on line, but I think I have them on the 'puter at home. I'll have a look when I get back, but the last time I did some supported prone shooting at that sort of range, I was knocking 1/2 inch holes out of the target. Gun's a Falcon FN12 Raptor Light Hunter with the QF silencer and a Simmons 3-9x40 on it. Wookie

deadeye ive
24 shots ie two mags @45yards (verified using rangefinder) mk1/2 rapid @ 30lbs bsa barrel I am happy with it??? cheers KW KW Come on mate lets be honest .......It's not really that skilful now is it with theses Fac Airguns . Now at 75yds well that would be impressive .............Calm day required admitingly. Cheers Ive
kdubya
true, but it still takesa steady hand and a fair bit of setting up and practice, and pellet testing to get to the point when you KNOW it will hit every time have had a few guns now ie webley, daystate, weirauch etc, now have only two custom built rapids on fac both as you can see are far more accurate than I could have imagined, god knows what the target lads groups must be? cheers KW

roblade
have to say that batch of single shot targets is pretty damned good always find it easier to do 5-10 shot groupings rather than the single shot targets where you change you point of concentration. SNAKEBITE
always find it easier to do 5-10 shot groupings rather than the single shot targets where you change you point of concentration. That's what happens when hunting, so any ways to improve that is good in my book!
roblade
thats what i was trying to imply, and another problem with shooting at a club, your always putting targets out to known distances (or trees LOL) but there some nice shooting there in the pics :( ROB
spider.20
second that rob! those single shots are impresive LG  these are only from 25 yards but it's the best i got out of the s410 today. is't shooting nicer with out the sliencer. the zeroing target is a shade under 1 1/4" and the groups are just sub 1/2" was well chuffed to see wot the gun's ment to be doing without that stupid silencer :( spider
Lord Geordie
Thx Chaps Kinda like to go punching the centers out of targets it's good fun. There was a older Guy at Steve smiths last week in a transit van was doing BLOODY well with open sights at 30 yards and 45 yards with knock downs i am talking hitting a 1/2 inch hole at 45 yards :( It was great watching him i gave him a go of the Falcon but he wasn't too keen on the scopes He prefers open sight which is FINE with me as they are a lot quicker for target aquisition. I need more practice myself as my Mate can hit DEAD centres with near every shot. He is a natural even when he took up clay pigeon shooting he has a high percentage of 1 shot kills me i am lucky to get say 15 out of 50 but then this is only the 2nd time i have been. Boy my shoulder aches as i tried a few heavy load game carts too  Lord Geordie
Trefil Hunter
i have managed to get 5 pellets into a target the size of 5p coin at 35 yards
Dunkield
To my untrained eye, I would say that is shooting a bit low, you completely missed that 20p piece, several times by the looks of it
Wookie
I knew I had a card on the web somewhere... 5 shots at 30m. Accupell from a Falcon 12 Raptor Lighthunter from prone with a rest. Wookie

Cyber
hiya, sorry but i had to put this pic up!! I had just finished zeroing my scope on my old BSA Lightning springer at around 25yds and a fly landed on my target so i gave it a pop. Couldn't believe it when i hit the thing 1st shot, it just splattered and to say it wasn't any bigger than the pellet i was using i would say that my zero was absolutely spot on lol!!! oh and yes, that is a leg above the splat hehehe!!!! One day i will be able to shoot like that, although the other day i was at 15yds putting pellets through the drinking hole in beer cans without touching the tops of the can using a .22 B2! Which althou a short distance, being a gun not zeroed for or by me and also being a b2 i felt proud lol
Cyber
thanks naddan! i was really proud of myself. i even kept the target in a plastic folder lol!! shooting through the hole in a drinking can is also good at 15yards with a b2. i've only shot one of my friends old B2's once and i couldnt get any sort of groupings! so well done
