What would you lot think of putting together a 4 day learning weekend on during the 2nd week of October, this could incompass the weekend as part.

What I am thinking is 4 or 5 of our ferreters taking out groups of 3 non ferreters for a days learning. This would require that someone lines up 5 or however many farms that we will need in the area.

Some of our more experienced stick makers running a day course of how to put a stick together....participants supply own staff and top dressing.

The making and setting of long nets and purse nets.

What ever else we can come up with, would be ideal if we could hold this somewhwere where we could camp.

Whats everyones thoughts?

I fancy a bit of that. Who know's ? Maybe some of the venues may even have a bit of Roe or Fallow stalking on them too??? I could bring the "Canon" along with me. :D

I'd love to go out ferreting or with Terriers and see some Rabbits or foxes caught. I find the disciplines that use animals as the hunter fascinating, not to mention very clever.

As your Canadian you could (note could) be forgiven but camping isn't generally the sort of thing we do around here :D
