Pedro
Hi, I've already been advised that shell decoys are the best to get. Does anybody have any thoughts on these eazywobblers? I'm also after some hide poles, thoughts? Sorry one other thing. Do you really need to wear all the camo stuff. I appreciate you need to blend in somewhat, but I've seen some scary looking people in different mags and sites. Cheers P
Dunkield
Pedro, I bought some matt coloured (not flock) shells and also got some easy wobblers, the sticks are a bit fragile but if you are carefull pushing them in and pulling them out the ground they are fine. I have only been out on an almost windless day and they bobbed arround quite nicely, particulary slightly side on to what little wind there was. As for cammo, if you have it fine, otherwise wear dull green or brown, the usaul 'field' clothing and keep still. I would say the most important areas to cover are your hands and face, those are what you see if you approch someone hiding out, so that is what them pesky pigeons will see too - only a lot sooner Edited February 1, 2006 by stuartp
Pedro
Top man Stuart, this whole thing is starting to get more and more expensive, so the less I have to buy the better.
SNAKEBITE
I am working on my own EZE-WOBBLERS as we speak. With a nod in the right direction from Sussex Lad I am coming up with some home made ones. I'll keep you posted. DISCLAIMER I am not pretending for one minute that they are going to be as good as the ones available from our esteemed site sponsor BUT when you haven't a lot of spare cash at the moment......... charlie
Hi lads I think the same as most of you do is all this fancy kit needed. My brother had a hide made of hessian sacks sewn together half adozen decoys that were smaller than the ones sold today, and shot bags of 60 to 80 very regular .His best day was 312 on rape believe it or not after several shooters had tried there 3or4 times before. But i suppose it makes us feel good and gives us confidence thats the main thing. moan over :<
