sako751sg
Headed out about 12ish with Mac and Rab for a walk round and hopefully a few birds.Whiteout conditions when we were driving there but it calmed down later.Approx 18 inches of snow in places and very hard going, and i think Rab was glad when it was over.Plenty of birds and Mac was working the camera and the camcorder.Highlights of the day was a l & r at a doo and a pheasant, and then at the last bit of the ditch i had the same with a snipe and a woodcock, reloaded and rose a snipe that was downed and i had just got another two in the pipes when a brace of pheasants rose and managed them both too.Total bag was 11 pheasants,3 snipe,2 frenchies,1 woodcock and one cushie.Hoping this weather doesnt last long because the doos must be real hungry already.Fed the kennel and shed roof with seeds and altogether there were 70+ wee birds, mostly greenies and chaffies.
