Natures_son
Well a while back i invited young ferret master out for the day. Despite being warned about going out with a poacher he still decided to come along. His dad was with him for the day as well. I'm hoping he learnt a bit and gained some experience. I think ive said it before but when your out you never stop learning for example i'd never met anyone who knew so much yet had never been out to do it Also i'd never met anyone who can be outrun by a rabbit with its back legs tied together (im sure FM will explain more). Seriously though both FM and his dad are genuine people and are more than welcome back out with me anytime. Im glad i got another young lad out walking the walk and not just talking the talk :o Fm has some pictures he will put up later as well as his own version of events. Ferret Master
Hi, This is Jordan speaking ever so kindly to a Ferret he has just dug 3 foot down and has now scuttled back down into the tunnel. "Whos a good ferret? Yes you are! Don't scuttle off please! Please?" FM Edited February 14, 2006 by Ferret Master

Ferret Master
Hi, Jordan mentioned my lack of success at catching a rabbit that had bolted with the net still round it. I was standing about 10m away when the bolt happened. The rabbit shot out taking the peg with it. I started running (I was wearing wellies with large clods of mud on them so easier said than done) and gained on the rabbit who was running down the hill across uneven ground. I made a dive but missed as it swerved in the nick of time. I got back up and resumed the hunt! :o I gained on it again as it was now running back up the hill towards the holes and stood on the drawstring. This stopped the rabbit temporarily but I tripped again on the uneven ground becuase wellies weren't made for running and he ran unhindered down a hole. While all this was happening my dad and Jordan stood there laughing. :< Jordan told me that they can get out the net quite easily once they get underground. FM P.S Not even Master Mc Grarth (spelling?) would of caught that bunny. Ferret Master
Hi, I only took 2. Echo my polecat bolted 2 within 10 mins on the first bury but Nippy my sandy didn't seem too interested today which suprised me becuase she has shown great interest in rabbit holes before. I still haven't tried Grace my other polecat. Thank-you for a great day Jordan. FM :o Edited February 14, 2006 by Ferret Master

Natures_son
Fm tell your dad i feel sorry for him having to put up with you 24/7 after one day out with you im shattered and emotionally drained But i wouldnt change it for the world. Your a good lad and very keen. If you carry on the way you are and get out do some ferreting fishing shooting etc and keep on learning you are going to know a hell of a lot more than people 3 times your age. Ive, New nicer side? I dont think so i enjoy winding people up to much Yours in sport Jordan

Ferret Master
Oliver's Mum here. Thanks for giving Oliver such a fantastic experience today. He is on a real high! However......if I hear "Jordan said " one more time, i am going to stick one of his rabbits where the sun don't shine!! I can't believe how awful my utility room smells, I thought the ferrets were bad enough!
