There were loads of Pigeons working the hawthorn and about 17 magpies chattering away and moving through the tops of the larch trees. One of them was pure White...from bill to tail, not a spek of another colour at all. Took a shot on the phone camera but to far away to come out so will go back tomorrow for another look.. As the Bird in local folklore is supposed to be the Devil incarnate....what does this mean..?? Should I do the lottery this week.?? Further on down the track three magpies were squabbling over what I thought was dead blackbird but when I got near it I identified it as a dead mole which the birds had more or less picked clean so that only the skin remained... I noticed there is a horse running at Newbury today called "Moleskin" is this an omen from the almighty....... should I stick my Xmas savings on it Advice please....
