Toombsy
Thought I'd share this little vid with you, of my 8 and 11 year-old daughters having their first go with a .410. They did dad proud. Although they were shooting at static clays at 20 yards, they still managed 21 and 22 out of 25 It's mostly filmed by the girls, so it's a bit wobbly in places . And just to explain, the side-on shots were filmed on zoom, so although it looks like they had strayed close to the barrel, they were well out of the way, and safe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZmiOMjvTXQ

Frenchieboy
The girls certainly did you proud Toombsy old mate. Give them a little bit of practice and they will be showing you how to do it, they are shooting better than me already! Would you be hoping to get them to advance on to live quarry at some time? Toombsy
Would you be hoping to get them to advance on to live quarry at some time? Not sure about the oldest - she's a bit squeamish. But the youngest has been helping me prepare game since she was 6. She can breast a duck from start to finish already
pestforce
Great shooting guys Cant wait till my little boys a bit bigger so he can come out with me properly altho he had his first rat with an air rifle age just 5 thats not a bad start think its brill bringing them into the sport so young, teaching them the right way to handle guns and look after the countryside can only be a good thing
harpoonlouis
Lovely video, my girls are now a good bit older but had their first shots about the same age. Wish I could go back and do it all again! Last year did a village fete and my oldest shooter was 94 and my youngest 3! Big smiles all round.
