Myself and my son Danny recieved an invite to go shooting for yesterday off Pigeonblasterian over east yorkshire, After getting ready at 5am we set off at 6 and arrived at 7.15..... i think getting out of the van and meeting Ian he could see we were up for it all the months of waiting for an opertunity like this.

Ian had decided on were we would shoot on on arrival the wild life we saw was fantastic Ducks, pheasant, squirels and of course our quarry hundres of pigeons in seperate flocks fantastic!

We packed the gear and moved down to a position near a small copes of trees, there Ian showed us how to errect the hide propperly, lay the decoys, flapper and magnet, showed us the do's and dont's infact he totally made us feel comfortable and wanted. After about 10mins the first pigeons started to drop in BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! we didnt shoot a one this is the part that i take my hat off to all pigeon shooters when they make this look so easy and it bloody aint, i thought i was getting pritty good at the clay ground but the way these pigeons move and the suddenly change direction is unbelievable. I think Ian had a shot or two when he bagged his first and the n Danny got one then me, we were finally out of the blocks. Ian sat back for most of the morning and left us too it under his supervision still pointing out to keep low in the hide ect, and we Banged away till our heart content. What a great day out, now up until yesterday i had never met Pigeonblasterian (Ian) he put his self out like i never expected but with this and been a totaly genuine and honest guy i just can say enought about him, even when Dannys last kill of the day was one of Ian's decoys (good shot thought) he shrugged his shoulders and said try and hit the ones that move :good: . At the end off the dai offerd Ian a 10 ner for the decoy needless to say he wouldn't take it and then invited us back to come when ever we wanted :D (what a suprise).

And the Bag 26 a great day out and a big thank you to Ian.

I will try and post some pictures latter today.

All The best

Ian is a top bloke!

I was lucky enough to get a day out with him a few weeks back as well. The bag was not as good as yours but I had a great day out. Salt of the earth guy who I cannot praise enough for his generosity and patience.
