Might hinge them. So, it started life looking like this.... And now it look like this.............. Got a bit more wiring to do, and a roof rack. Also found a nice jerry can and a set of spades for it.

MM
so you missus bought you a pink car Yes, i know. Good thing is, she knew what i intended to do to it/. The new coat of paint is the last time this motor will ever be cleaned. Next job on the list is to repair the exhuast pipe. Its missing about 8 inch, and the fumes blow into the back seats. Im going to disable that, and put a hinge on the top so they can be lifted up and used to shoot out of. Failing that, i might just take the windows out when shooting. MM
That looks spot on did you use a rattle can or brush? A big compressor and spray gun. Just took my time and masked everything off. I had to do the black stuff with a can, as im a cheapskate. , but the NATO green is cellulose paint from a car body shop. Mixed it with thinners, and away you go. MM
That looks a lot better than the original, just needs some at2s fitted now and it will be unstoppable Are they the big fat tyres? Im not going to be doing a great deal of hard off roading, just using it as a car that wont get stuck in the mud, and i dont have to clean twice a year. Mrs MM is sick and tired of every time she opens the car window, pigeon feathers start flying around like snow Also, blood tends to stain boot carpets

cooky
good paint job but i think the lights would have been better on the bull bar and if they are for lamping one of those lamps that you can use from inside the cab would have been better
Daveo26
How do you get it into 4 wheel drive? Mines a '98 and I have to get out and turn a switch on each front wheel to engage the drive to that wheel. Where as my mums got a Jimny and she just presses a button on the dash.
