Last few threads have been hi jacked by these key board warriors taking the **** out of someone about ther spelling/grammar and another person asking about shooting Canada geese. Now for all we know he's just started shooting and is confused with all the info related to it he might not even know thers different species of geese. If he's no interest in wild fowling he's not going to know. So lads if your not going to answer the post in a polite way the don't bother. It makes the forum look bad. Its a pretty decent site and I've made a good friend from here but if all the sarkey bitching carrys on I'm going to sign off. There are a few people on here that I actually quite respected, but who seem recently to have lowered themselves to picking holes in people. I know sometimes people write daft stuff but there's no need to lay into them. It's a bit childish really. I'll stick it out although I must admit I've not been here as much recently. Forums have rough times now and again and generally this one is a keeper. The mods don't take sides and things get sorted as they should be regardless of who's in the arguement. As I sed could of be completely genuine question to which he wanted an answer from somebody who is more experienced. Not comments of you shouldn't own a gun ect. You do have a point but I've never seen a forum yet that wasn't part point-scoring exercise for some. As they go this one is one of the better ones. Unlike other places I need not name the mods are impartial and don't go around threatening (or worse) those who don't agree with them. But you're right - it's the written word so sometimes the meaning and intonation is lost, and can be interpreted the wrong way. As for the other post, as far as I can recall from reading it - the guy posted asking for opinions. He got them. Didn't like them. Then the whole thing descended into mickey taking and slagging.
