I think it's freekin superb that Zapp the mod has to threaten members with a shutdown to prevent name calling - come on guys, shall we all grow up a bit and stop acting like infant school kids so the mods don't have to step in.

I am genuinely writing this with a sore jaw at the laughing I am doing -

"you're a poo head."

"Yeah, well you're a snot brain."

Ner ner na ner nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I've watched this thread with great interest, I feel if to many members got involved it would most likely be locked.

The above quote by Mushroom, I would think likely.....we haven't many dressed in trick or treat clothing up our way yet,

but I've never spoken to anyone up here who differs from the opinion that Mushroom has.

There may be many people on here who feel that the policy on immigration is seriously flawed and has caused a lot of problems in this country. I'm one of them and I believe that Blair and Straw should be strung up for their part in tihs fiasco. What I don't agree with are the lies peddled by people who are trying to prove a point about the negative effects of immigration. Stick to the truth. That is bad enough without inventing stories and statistics to try and make it worse.

Also, I feel very strongly that many of the issues that cause people to dislike some immigrants are not fully understood by those who use them to create race hate. Many of these issues are reflected in Brits living abroad and have natural social reasons for them. I'll wager that when Mushroom goes to live in Spain he will live amongst ex-pats and socialise almost exclusively with them. If he doesn't, and embraces the local people and culture then he will be in a tiny minority from my own observations of Brits in Cyprus and France.

You mean the one that can't be trusted? Whereas the Electoral Role is a much more accurate means of recognising race and religion even though it only contains names and addresses

I should imagine that the hidden population of illegals will register on the 2011 census then?

whats that pink thing with a curly tail flying by?

You've been strangely quiet recently - were you in the party that got nicked with fat MA and AP in London the other day (oh, oops, that might be liable, I better remove the allegation). :hmm:

As an aside, and given the burgeoning obesity problem in the UK, why hasn't the British government given due consideration to the example set by the French and brought in a burger ban?

Superb, totally takes the heat out of the previous 10 pages - do you write headlines for the Sun in your spare time. :good:
