Catweazle
More practice required. Most rifles will do much better with a suitable pellet.
Gnome of the Woods
You should be able with a bit more practise to put all of them in the center circle. Buy decent pellets as well, AA field or JSB domed pellets are the best. The thing with springers is a light grip and a consistent hold. mickanles
with a good rifle like that i would hope to get the centre circle
lineshooter
What pellets are you using. I`ve shot one of these at our club and they do seem to recoil a bit.
Polish
BSA make a few tactical stocked rifles. I have the Lightning and assume that's what you have too? My only difference is .22 pellets. The gun is very grip sensitive, be gentle with it. Don't fight the recoil and it'll treat you right
twitchynik
You sure that wasn't a pattern test?
Gnome of the Woods
You sure that wasn't a pattern test? Bit harsh Nik! Probably better than I would do with a true springer and not my cheating one

FalconFN
You sure that wasn't a pattern test? Ouch. As said, keep going and try different pellets as the rifle will be capable of much smaller groups if it has the right pellets and hold. What was your shooting stance - standing, sitting, supported etc? There are some vids on youtube showing good springer shooting positions which may help. Good luck and keep shooting.
