flash
looking at my budget it is between the Gumpower stealth and the air arms S200. i was wandering if i could have the opinion of the knowledge pool that is pigeonwatch. it would be mainly for hunting and the budget limit is £400 plus a pump. flash
ferretmanabu
I've heard bad things about the gunpower stealth regarding accuracy. The S200 on the other hand, has always had glowing reports and looks much nicer than the stealth. A rifle should look like a rifle, not a bit of drainage pipe like the stealth does. You'll find a lot of info on airgunbbs.com. Just do a search for stealth and s200
Slipster
S200 I use mine for targets as well as hunting, I have added the 10 shot mag and it has performed well Overhaul i couldnt ask for a better gun fot the money Slipster

SNAKEBITE
If buying new, the S200 (maybe the 10 mag adaptor as well?) but for £400 you are in the S4** area and that may be a better buy. :o
flash
yeah, but that £400 has to cover charging equipment aswell flash

il cacciatore
S200 all the way. Love mine, very accurate, quite light and well made. With a silencer its... well... silent! You can pick them up for very reasonable prices second hand as well. There is scope for adding the 10 shot mag turning it from a good PCP to a very good one. I have the 10 shot on mine! it makes the S200 a superb hunting rifle! very light as you said, pointable and prett short. infact i need to go shoot it righ now haha

Davrian
Bad reports of the Stealth were for the early model! As long as you buy the Stealth 2000 or later you'll have no problems. My mates got the S200, bottle needs filling more frequently, accuracy drops off when pressure drops (both unregulated but stealth bottle is huge and 300 bar!), nothing in it for accuracy when both full, Stealth comes with silencer. You can buy Stealth direct from manufacturer and it has LIFE TIME WARRANTY! Have you got a gun shop with a range? try them both side by side, Mendip shooting let me try lots of different rifles. I'm chuffed with my Stealth, am looking for a 300 bar cylinder 12L or bigger for charging if anyone can knows for one?
il cacciatore
For the record the S200 has a 200 bar cylinder. On one charge with the S200 you get maybe 60 useable shots, dont know about the gunpower stealth.
wacker
I'd go for the stealth, as good as the s200 is, i find the stock a little too short.
Davrian
http://www.gunpower.org.uk/home.htm Have you seen the web page? you can ring the phone number in the "buy" section and talk to the man who's concept it was in the first place. Helpful kinda chap (aren't they always when they're selling something?) I get around 250 shots per fill from the Stealth.
kdubya
have a look on bbs re the stealth?thread titled "word of warning" guy in a bit of bother cos he was seen "with a rocket launcher" near an airport might have had less hassle if he had a gun that actually looked like a gun? cheers KW
Hunter
All my freinds think mine is a military weapon Great gun. I just gave my freind tow rabbits from the freezer from a batch of five..
