rsrjerry
No photos , I am afraid that the red squirrel kittens have died , thought i would post up as a lot of people expressed an interest and were wanting updates . The 2 males died on monday morning , between feeding times and the 2 x females were dead this morning when i got up to feed them at 4.30 am .. dont know what went wrong ? they were all taking the lactol and seemed content , warm and were growing , ears begining to open , hair growing on tails etc .. We tried but i must admit i knew it was going to be a big challange we have never had squirrels this young to hand rear before .. we will carry on and try out best the next time we get one to hand rear as i am sure there will be a next time .. Many thanks to all who showed an interest and all your support ..cheers rsrjerry Edited June 15, 2011 by rsrjerry
