bruno22rf
Whatever you get do not forget to get a decent one-piece mount with an arrestor pin to secure the scope to the gun-it might also be worth tracking down a mount made specifically for the HW as the gun has a drooping barrel. The original were made in the Philippines (check under the saddle). I believe the latest incarnation of this previously excellent scope are made in China, whatever, they are not a patch on the original! Dekers
Have a look at these, come with a "gar-ran-tea" or something like that apparently but I had them recommended to me on another forum http://www.jsramsbottom.com/categorylist/riflescopes-jsr-optics/ ATB D The range of JSR scopes offer glass generally way above their price, the down side is the build quality/engineering. I have several and know others who have them, I use them on the rimfires and centrefires and they are ok, could be I have been lucky, as I do know those who have had problems, however, I would say they offer excellent VFM and are seriously worth considering! I'm a novice but guys are telling me to buy a pcp AA 400 type they say you can't miss I like my springer it tells me when I'm doing something wrong and that's most of the time I think I would get bored if I never missed PS before any one shouts I only shoot paper targets but understand the one inch box rule for kill zone cheers
