gibby
£5 for the pro sporting, then theres a 50 bird sporting for £10 and 80 for £15 i think, so reasonably priced. Which grounds do you shoot in the south west? Cheers Gibby
tosspot
£24 for 100 sporting practice £6 skeet £34 for 100 sporting on a registered shoot so for a typical day 120 registered sporting then a round of skeet followed by a round of compact + shells best part of £80 or £30 so the Mrs thinks
Catamong
Most grounds now charge minimum £30 to shoot 100 registered Sporting. At Doveridge yesterday I paid £34 for 100 birds, which included a £2 levy to the West Midlands branch of the CPSA. When you add in the cost of the shells, plus about £60 in fuel for the Range Rover on the 220 mile round trip, it sure ain't a poor mans sport..!! Perhaps I shoud stick to shooting the real Pigeons, it's a heck of a lot cheaper..!! Cat.

Dunkield
Seems to depend on the quality of the shoot, there are so many round my way if you charge over the top you won't pull the punters in. £10-12 for 50 for an average shoot and £27 for 100 for a very good one! I don't travel great distances to shoot any more (no company car + fuel card now) so I am glad there so many grounds close by..

I totally agree its the quality of the ground and its amenities in Leicestershire we have 2 but both at the opossite end of the scale both good grounds for clay pigeon but one very basic £8 for 50 clays the other £12 for 50 clays one has club house and good gun shop the other nothing.
