Morning, I hesitate to use the the word good, just listening to that twittering bint Teresa plumming her way through an interview with Eammon on Sky. Jeez, what a twonk!

She's still banging on about un'ceptable and that hideous keyword ' robust' blah blah. The public now should police their streets.... oh right Teresa, what so they can make themselves targets and then get nicked for clouting a minor.

Watched an interview with one of the hoodies hes stated 'we ain't gonna stop, what have we got to stop for?'.

Well, as much as I do not agree with his point I have to say he has one. The powerful in this country have systematically hived off most of the semi-skilled jobs to foreign countries in order to keep the shareholders happy and increase their own personal fortunes.

One things for sure, you don' t feel much like rioting after a 12 hour shift.

The irony is, by torching businesses and working class homes and property they're just hitting the small businessman and the few working class jobs left.

If you're that angry guys you've picked the wrong targets. Idiots.

Its a very interesting situation, I think the scary thing is how its spread to so many cities. how will the police cope? MET have already confirmed all of London's police cells are full!

And they are removing police from hants to cover which will give less support for portsmouth, Southampton,Winchester etc

The problem as I see it with one of the points that you are making about the shareholders they would be the people who manage our pensions funds to make as much money as they can for the pensioners by exporting all of the jobs to low pay countries the problem is we wont the pension fund people to make as much money as they can for us but we do not care what they do or who they harm to do it that is a fact.

As for the rioting that is down to the police failing to stop the first one quickly enough or is it. I am not a big fan of the police but the problem hear is the media if the police go in quickly with force the police get slagged of for brutality by the papers that we buy so they cannot win I say **** the papers get the job done but then I do not buy papers.

Wooaaa, this hit is getting way out of hand now. Just got up and looked at the news. I'm sure we're not quite on the verge of civil war as the press would have us believe but enough's enough. If the police can't cope then it's time for the army (and trust me I don't say that lightly.

Its out of hand and this lot have nothing else to do, we need some serious rain and a change in temperature to stop it. Look at every police bashing thread on here to get an idea of why the police act as they do, brutality isn't tolerated but its what is needed and most police aren't up for loosing their job and pensions as well as lives. Be interesting to see how it pans out as surely it can't keep spreading at this rate

Watched that last night and she's bang on. Also this morning watched viral video of people jumping out of burning flats into the streets below and gangs of youths mugging passers by with extreme violence.

I'm very worried about the wife who's set off for work, travelling through Brimsdown, Hackney, Tottenham etc. etc. Told her to remove all jewellery, take a tenner in cash, leave the iPod and ditch the louis.

News just in

David Cameron "I am granting the Metropolitan Police emergency powers to use water cannons, rubber bullets and tear gas to take back control of our streets from these poncing parasites biting the hand that feeds them. In addition I am deploying the British Army as a visible presence to provide the authority that is so very lacking.".....Carlsberg don't do Prime Ministers but if they did........

Listening to all the reports on the radio while driving to work this morning has put me in a bad mood.

We are just too soft on these wasters, The police should have been allowed to steam in early doors and nipped it in the bud.

I cant imagine any other country would stand for this mob rule.

As has been said by many others on here, bring out the water cannons and blast everyone in the vicinity this will also stop all the onlookers who are just as bad.

If this carries on I can see that getting pulled. Would you want to come to London, home of riots, burning buildings, wholesale looting, feral youth, indiscriminate stabbings, gang warfare, shootings, muggings, if you fancied a nice relaxing holiday/ sports combo?

just like market day in Thetford in Norfolk....and every day in Great Yarmouth
