utectok
Why??? Sure you could stalk the rabbit to 50 yards or am I missing the point?
Si-Bore
Why??? Sure you could stalk the rabbit to 50 yards or am I missing the point? Because I can. I am shooting an entire area all at once. Its a more effective form of daytime rabbit control.
utectok
Fair enough I'd walk around and pop them off from 40 yards good exercise ! Each to his own I suppose.

RUNCEMOUNT
Why??? Sure you could stalk the rabbit to 50 yards or am I missing the point? So you would walk over 1/2 mile for a rabbit and by the time you get there it's hopped away. Good shooting, liked the other vids on youtube aswell. malkiserow
Why??? Sure you could stalk the rabbit to 50 yards or am I missing the point? I think it is called "willy waving" However, that was an impressive shot Sibore. Is that £1 per shot?

Dunkield
Maybe I am just too impatient, but I can never see why there is 40 odd seconds of nothing before the shot in these vids
Beretta28g
Si bore, brilliant shot, next time can you do us a little experiment? go for a heart lung shot then post a picture of the carcass so we can ***** the edibility of it? Dunkield
I think it is more pest control, than providing for the table - do you think he walked over and picked it up after?

I am now more inclined to belive a say 704 yard shot was ossible but i was wondering what the terminal balistics would be at thata range. Si-Bore
I think it is more pest control, than providing for the table - do you think he walked over and picked it up after? pest control or sniper practice I know which I'd go for It is mainly sniper work to be fair - the pest control is the bi-product when I'm shooting the big rifles. If I'm shooting for the table or to drop off at the game dealers it the Hilux and .22LR/lamp. In fact I have have shot 400 rabbits in the last 6 weeks on this shoot using the .22LR and most have gone to the gamedealer. Obviously these rabbits are not going there and in fact wont leave the spot they were shot. The landowner has no problem with this and in fact on many occasions joins us to do some spotting through the spotting scope which is nice. Last year I shot approx 1000 rabbits with my .204 and most of it was over the grouse moor where I was unable to walk due to disturbing the game on the ground so the farmer was really pleased. Cheers, Si

steve_b_wales
Excellent shooting. It puts my 238 yard shot at a crow (22-250) to shame!

Crows are clever and rarely stand still. Well done. I bet it was nice to see. Si
