Oh yes and they also like printing topics too,I timed one at 11 minutes :) ......either a slow printer or a big topic.I believe if they had just downloaded it we could trace them but printing we can`t.

I`m working on a way of copyrighting the photos that are published here and will disclose all when i`ve got it sussed.

Paranoid comes to mind. The only way to protect anything on here is to either prevent members from viewing it or not putting it up in the first place. You could go half way and say that only distinguised members can access certain areas, but then others will loose out. Of course, preventing people from being able to use facilities without first logging in may help but, its in no way fool proof.

Catch 22 im affraid :)

How about just making sure that everything on here is legal?

I shoot rabbits. Unless this has suddenly become illegal then I don't feel any problems posting pictures or talking about it on a hunting forum. If I posted them on a disney website then yes I can see the arguement but here? No.

If they come here then they know what to expect don't they?

If they don't like it then they can **** off out of it, closing the door behind them. Sod 'em and all they stand for. ********.

it's a tough one, but i think i agree with snakebite, i'm proud of what i do as a shooter, it is entirely legal and all of the major political party's manifestos have accepted the benefits of shooting as i'm sure the majority of the public does. i enjoy it, and i enjoy sharing it with other people who feel the same. i do agree however that if people were trying to print off member's photos for the sake of recognising them, or attempting to find adresses then there is cause for concern, and perhaps changes to the site should be called for, i think it's very sad that we should have to do that though, anti's are just so ignorant. anyway, cheers BM :)

That part I hadn't thought of. I know your rough location is in your profile but actually tracking you down, that's a little scary. Although to be honest it is fairly unlikely isn't it? :)

So, we make areas of the Forum "members only".

Anyone can register as, "The Biggest Anti in Town", or perhaps more likely, " Cranfield" and away they go.

Some members don't like being pulled up for bad language, posting illegal, or dangerous practises, adult type pictures or links to adult sites, etc.

Teal has these rules to try to keep the site tidy, so that we don't offend the general Public who may view and read about our totally lawful pastime.

I believe some of the guests are from overseas and download pictures and posts, to put on their own Forums.

I doubt very much if its Antis.

Nothing has ever surfaced on any Anti website to my knowledge, that has come from here.

Its almost impossible to trace a member from their profile, unless you have accesss to Admin information and this is very secure.

Crikey, what a load of pandemonium. Come on guys lets get this in perspective. What happens when you open the front page of a shooting magazine? There are pictures, names, contact details, and photos of us normal hunting fishing shooting folk in the midst of enjoying whatever country pastime is in the magazine feature. Are the magazines taken offprint because of anti's harrassment? Nope, will they be? Not a chance. We are different to a magazine only insofar as there is more anonymity protecting us. What does that mean? Stop worrying about being watched!! If they want to watch, they can, they can't 'get to us', nor will they be able to turn the tide of public opinion against us because of a few photos or forum topics. The only result will be the same old anti's telling each other, again, how evil we are and how could we do that bla bla, all the rest of that hypocritical incoherent emotive ****. Do I care if they get a bit more worked up? B*****s do I!

Let's not give them the satisfaction eh boys (or girls) :)

I have just had to edit a post that advocated doing an illegal act, even though the person was unaware it was illegal(the courts don`t mind either way)and it was edited 20 or so minutes later.

I hope that non of our guests were in a copying mood :)

Why not just be sensible and don't post up Pictures with your face on. Same with location, keep it a bit vague. Same with car numberplates.

If you want to meet up with someone, make it somewhere public first off and see what you make of them.

Ask them to bring their FAC or SGC to a first meeting before you take them anywhere near your permission.

I don't want some anti digging up my granny, besides, she was cremated so they would need a cordless hoover.

Anyhows, it's the photo section that is likely to get people into trouble whether the photographed acts are legal or otherwise - ickle furry foxes covered in claret and with holes in them it's just what the antis want to see. So what to do? Well I dunno.

I did however think it pathetic that a post of mine was deleted yesterday - it was a story of how the father of a guy I used to work with over 15 years ago would dispatch foxes using electricity and a bin lid. I wasn't condoning, encouraging or suggesting but merely telling a story. Hey presto, removed and admin warning. ***?

In the "flatulence" thread someone mentioned a group of builders defecating on a dance floor - that's a criminal act and a confession to boot, so where's the admin intervention on that thread?

And as for swearing - get real - the essence of this forum is people with guns shooting things and posting pictures of dead animals.... hmmm straw poll of the population about what's likely to offend? Someone typing out "**** that" or (1) pictures of dead animals (2) someone living in the Midlands wanting advice on how to get "Seals" added to their FAC [the Midlands being well known for an endemic seal problem].

Hey I bet you what... yes, they must have been printing off copies of the posts with rude words in to show to their local MPs.

I never put a full face image on the net or any specific contact details. I always edit out my number plate for insurance purposes.

I know that shooting isnt illegal but I just dont like the idea that I could have my photo being duplicated without my will between strange weirdos that could be dangerous.

It has been known that online stalkers have tracked people down.
