Hunter
So, atlast I got myself a propper camera, and thought I would show you jsut a couple of shots of my shoot. Theres a lot more land too though. Please Note: Pictures are taken in memory of a special friend who passed away 7am yesterday, aged only 18 years old. The sky was amazing all day here, I have never seen it like this. So I took these pictures For Eddie. May he rest in peace for a looong time. You deserve it my friend. Here are the Deer on my shoot, safley nibbling away at the grass. They know they are safe for a while still, as my licence does not have a deer stalking calibre yet. These deer are not tame, but they are in our forest and fields very often now. Infact one group more or less lives here. (their are around 14 all together on our land, including one white deer) Our big trees.. Part of the forest The Lake. Garden, Veiw from my window Sneaking around, watching rabbits and deer. I have no guns at the moment, so I enjoy studying deer meanwhile. And the sun goes down at the end of the day.. And the day is finished with a small fire. Thanks for looking

Dunkield
What can you say, other than 'very nice' Distinct lack of suitable backstop though!
Hunter
Hi all, thanks for your comments. I have not shown the back stops as these are only snap shots. There is a lot more land and forest which is a big valley, so perfect back stop. FLO didnt even check the land just looked out my window and said its fine.. To the reply above, Im not sure if the white deer is doe/buck. I havent seen it very often latley, I hope its not been shot, as it was here all the time before Glad you like the place. I hope to do a BBQ some day, so il let you know when its possible

Dead-Eyed Duck
Beautiful, beautiful place Hunter. Is that a shot of a Redwood tree? Many moons ago I shot a squiz out of one near Ruthin in North Wales. Damn near killed myself as it landed on my head. Hell of a height. Don
Hunter
I would like to do a BBQ soon, but im running around too much lately with no real free time. Soon as the weather gets warmer and holidays come, im sure we can do something. For anyone travelling far, you could camp out here. Fresh water, toilets and showers etc all here.. This is were I work too Heres a picture of the overall grounds. Yes, the trees are redwoods we have about 7 of them here. Should be able to see some more of the forest I hunt in here. I have been on more hunting trips here then I have shot anything. Darn airguns.. spend half a day zeroing them, get out hunting and the whole thing has changed. (no im not a bad shot ) I think things will be better when I have a gun that hits what I aim at. So many times I ave been in a perfect shooting position, gun tuned and ready to go, no wind, and pop, pellet hits 2 inches off target and bunny hops away after hours of stalking up on them. Go frustrated often as I knew it was the gun, not me.

Hunter
My brother flies model aeroplanes, so we atached a small digital camera to it, and he flew it up there and took the pictures. Pretty neat I wont give any more info on the house for security reasons on the public forum, but yep I love, work and play there. And no im not a spoilt rich kid.. us who own this building work darn hard to keep it all going I will let you know one thing, and that is this area is an old deer hunting area, and the white building is an old hunting lodge.. so im keeping the tradition going it seems, 200 years later
