A mate i work with gets up at 5am for work and his wife and 2 daughters are already up watching it waiting for them to wake up :good:

Big Brother, it originated in the Netherlands, i apologise for that (BIG SORRY) :good::crazy:

We have had several sequals now, even a woman given birth in the house  . And no i never watched it.

What do the dutch give the world; big brother, xtc, drugs, red light district, windmills, tulips and wooden shoes. Not really a lot is it?

oh yes, just remembered, Rebecca Loos

In a way the Dutch contestants were to blame for it's popularity H&H, because I have feeling that in your first show a couple were 'getting it on' on a regular basis and that is why people sat up half the night watching it?

I guess if you are security gaurd or similar it is a god send but I find if you don't watch the first bit, then missing the rest is very easy.

They don't talk about anything else in the smoking room at work (which luckily I don't use)

I used to do all my training in Amsterdam H&H, so I was there at least a couple of times a year, and became quite fond of Holland - as you can imagine :good:

@stuartp; (luckily for the dutch) Amsterdam is not a mirror of the Netherlands. Most people in the netherlands dislike amsterdam (like me, but then i am born and raised in Rotterdam, the big rivalcity). amsterdam is too overdone, and the people are loud mouthed and cocky. I can understand why you like amsterdam, it is a party town. But keep in mind there are a lot of other good things about our country apart from this city.
