Ped
Got the aigle wellies and they're ace, very comfy and pretty warm too!
Ricko
For that price will they last for ever? Sometimes the trade off is spending less and replacing more often, rather than buying expensive brands. Eg: I used to buy Hunter wellies all the time, found it more viable to buy a cheap pair every 2 years.
silver pigeon 3
just switched from muck boots to the Aigle iso parcours open and they are so comfy. Only had them about a week but already very pleased with them.
jef
I know of four pairs of Hunter Balmorals to be faulty. They were the Bamboo/Carbon model but the faults were all on the outside. I am currently in a pair of Ebay neoprene cheapos and so far so good for £25. Just bought the wife a pair of HSF Neoprene for Christmas and I may try them next. They look like a Chinese copy of Le Cham but I could be wrong. JF
tigger
Le chameau Verznord boots would get my vote mine must be 8 years old and still going strong used every day awesome boots
fern01
If I was you I would avoid any make of wellies with weak plastic buckles, they all break far too easily. Does anyone know how to get them replaced outside the guarentee?
Will 1994
Le Chameau
THE AD
Neoprene from go outdoors,Cheap but good three of us all wear them and after a year so far so good.As stated above just buy new when the old ones wear old,who wants to stick your foot in a eight year old wellie.
Highlandladdie
I have the Hunter Neoprene Balmorals. They are very comfy and fit like a glove, but as you may be able to tell I'm biased I haven't had them that long so can't comment further as to longevity
Harryrab
I had some hunter balmorals...the rubber perished and therefore leaked in under a year not good!

Dibs
Been looking myself and was going for chameaus or aigle but the musto holmsdales look really good for 120, chameaus are 150 for a similiar boot and think the neoprene in the mustos is thicker. Also at present if you buy them from sportsmanguncentre you get a free clyde shooting suit worth 170! Not sure what the suit is like but the boots look good. dan-250
I was after some wellies not long ago, after being recommended the muck boots I got some, as I thought the le chameaus was to expensive for te odd muddy field claying and walking the dog. I must say they are very comfy, rather toasty and still look like new even tho I've covered a few miles in them. I'd recommend them to anyone, don't no about how long they will last but I presume by how they wear quite a while, I think the sole will be first to wear out tho. I'll more then likely of ruined them or the dog will of chewed them by that sort of time

GregR
I would reckon you'll be lucky to see a discount on wells in winter mate, January sales or no January sales! Still, if you're in no rush to buy there's no harm in waiting, unless the snow starts and they all sell out! For what is worth I splurged on Le Cham Vierzonords yesterday - for a man that spent the last decade ridiculing anyone that paid more than £20 on wellies that's some accolade. Comfiest pair of boots I've ever put on. Best of luck. Greg
Dibs
had a look on the website today, and couldnt see anything about a free gift . It's still there. Go to footwear and to musto and its there.
Harryrab
Had a pair of chameaus for christmas! bloody proper! The lad in sportsman said to me not to even think about mustos when chameaus are not much more (ask for their best price!)
UKPoacher
I can't believe what you guys spend on wellies! I get Dunlops for around £12 and they last a season, which is about how long the expensive ones would last given the amount of brambles and hawthorn I go through when beating. Posers the lot of you
