docholiday
Had a good day out today, finally had my first day out cod fishing this season, havnt been able to get out since september due to constant gales coming down the channel, forcast was iffy today 3-4 going 5 ESE, any way we decided to go and have a look, was freezing getting out to the boat, water was frozen, boat cover was frozen, I was frozen and I smashed my thermos, all sunny and calm as we made our way out about 5 miles west of the needles. anyway wind was breezy but fishable, we caught 72 fish most were dogfish and pout, but we had 14 whitting up to 2 lbs and then 1 hr before we packed up I caught this 9 lbs 14 onz Cod, so cod and chips about to go in the fryer cheers doc PS no comments about the hat :yp: :yp: :yp: Bit wobbly most off the day But worth it
