Gnome of the Woods
I sent the stock to him, all of the parts and all of the work was carried out/ supplied by him.
gixer1
What makes that botch worse is the fact you had a nice bit of wood prior to the cut and you may not get as nice a bit again, also demand you get a forend too as you want a matched set... Dickiebig
If you want to have a look at www.greenwoodgunsmiths.co.uk or www.bkwebstergunsmith.com/monte-carlo-comb-conversion this could probably be saved, at a cost. There is also a very good site in America, for replacement beretta stocks, www.colegun.com which might be of help. Regards Dickie.
Gnome of the Woods
We will see what transpires, I sent a message accepting his offer. A 3rd party is ordering it, but I have asked about the matched pair. As soon as I know anything I will let you know.

Gordon R
I would get the stock first, whilst the "gunsmith" still has something to lose.
Gnome of the Woods
I accepted his offer in writing, I told the mutual friend to go ahead an order it. I have just sent him a message asking how things are going but he is at a funeral today. I have also sourced a matched pair stock and forend myself just in case. To be continued........
