woodcock1
Was having a chat on the forum last night with a couple of fellow Co. Antrim Pigeon Watchers and we seemed to think that a NI meet up would be a good idea. Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if there's anyone else interested? Would a visit to a clay ground be a good starting point? Maybe a shooting complex with different disciplines, say Carnviev Farms or Foymore lodge, that type of thing. Be good to see if anyone is interested. All thoughts or ideas welcome including dates. (If we come to a positive conclusion I'll edit the first post and add any arrangements)

tweedledee
Carn view is a good spot. That said it's. Been a year or so since i lifted a shotty .
woodcock1
Good to have you on board. Nobody worry about not being able to shoot well. We dont even have to shoot if anybody doesn't want to. On the other hand I always love to miss a few. Should be a good laugh.

GW80
Yep would be up for this, bit tied up till about april time. Maybe something like Moira gamefair would be a good idea as its should be sort of central to most. Although its not on till the end of may. P~MX
yeah I'd be up for it too,Foymore would be a good spot for game shooters as all their targets are sporting birds and it's handy to the motorway
woodcock1
April or may sounds like a good idea to me. Gives people time to get organised.
ollie
I'm certainly up for it; although I would need a bit of notice as I quite often work Saturdays. Not a clay shooter, but a clay shoot would be good craic.
GW80
I'd say one of the gamefairs would be bang on then, A line of sporting clays that we can shoot, dog tests and lurcher/terriers racing for the doggy men and plenty of other things to do! woodcock1
Rite oh then. We have enough onboard to start thinking about venue. The two options so far are gamefair or clay complex. Gamefair could work as thers something for everyone, some will be going anyway. Would Moira be one of the better ones? Heres a LINK
