Willxx
surely acknowledged terrorist sympathisers should be excluded from human rights regulations as they have no concern for the human rights of their victims or even potential victims? silpig5
we the people of great britain do not count when it comes to the human rights farce . it is there to protect wrong doers from other countries and to protect the scum that are below normal peoples standards . scrap it in the uk and maybe the mp's and judges will grow a back bone again . sorry rant over
88b
Perhaps the country these human rights judges are in or from should look after him. Or our authorities could install a strong hook in the ceiling of his cell and leave him a rope to play with. Or do as Italy has and ignore the European court and send him to Jordan. Beretta28g
I think the fact the UK cannot say who comes into the UK is a very sorry state of affairs. It should be up to OUR government.
-Mongrel-
Crazy state of affairs! Why we can't just ship him outta here I do not know! Even if it's a 'unofficial' Hercules to Jordan in the black of night, just get him the Hell out of this country!
Fat Dog
I think the fact the UK cannot say who comes into the UK is a very sorry state of affairs. It should be up to OUR government. Shocking but true. GREAT Britain eh ?

mark g
I think the fact the UK cannot say who comes into the UK is a very sorry state of affairs. It should be up to OUR government. it was until labour handed control to the eu with the lisbon treaty, not surprising considering that they set out to rub the rights nose in diversity, and billy liars missus just happens to be a human rights lawyer, its no use blameing people for takeing advantage of the system, we as a democracy voted in a labour government, we just need to remember not to do it again and if we do it takes about 8 to ten years to pay off the debt

ben0850
Surely this known terrorist (wanted on charges in nine different countries) is beyond human rights? What about our rights??? Please can dear old dearly departed Jim fix it for me for 22 SAS to pay him a visit and take him on his holidays permanently.....
henry d
He`s a dangerous man, but the evidence is shaky ? He hasn`t been convicted of anything ? ECHR/strasbourg stop extradition ? We (as a country) give him 22 hrs a day supervision and no internet or phone ? Sounds peachy to me as he would get more liberty (legal or otherwise) in jail than in the wilds of the UK. P.S. nice edit, saved a bit of face there
poontang
He's wanted in the US as well as a few other countries. It seems the ECHR are worried he'll be tortured in Jordan so are blocking his extradition. Simple solution would be to extradite him to the US, and let them extradite him to Jordan. That would get rid of Qatada, and stick one up the ECHR
